Now you can get more energy from a patch! I especially like the way that
they "believe" that it works. It is also based on years of research from
many fields. While the research may be valid, I'm not sure that their
results were intended to be used with a "patent pending blend of water,
oxygen, amino acids and organics applied to a polyester fabric and sealed
within a polymer shell".

The bold claims continue:
http://lifewave.com/yage.asp
"Because LifeWave technology is capable of triggering metabolic changes within the cells,..."
Not one single shred of verifiable scientific evidence to support the claim.
The LifeWave tradition continues even as the actual sales of the "product" line continue their inevitable decline. |

Thank you so much for bringing this to the public's attention.
We can all now safely believe that the LifeWave patches are not a scam after all and rush out to buy them by the truck load.

I read with horror that this US company is still in existence for 4 years after so much lies it carries. We were thinking that there are governing bodies in US to track down MLM companies that were out to cheat.
Seems like the world is pure round. Whether it's the thought-to-be leader in the field of MLM or the new upcoming MLM industry in ASIA, they are all the same - consumers are never protected.
Fyi, Lifewave is trying to expand to Asia. And thanks for all the info, we will make sure not too many will be cheated here.
BTW, why is it that there is no court case against Lifewave in US from the existing consumers who should have been cheated? Just curious as I do not understand the US culture.. |

The MP energy field changes natural elements harmful to our health such as UV (ultraviolet) rays and EM(electro-magnetic) fields into harmless life waves and elements.

Horrified Asian asked:
"why is it that there is no court case against Lifewave in US from the existing consumers who should have been cheated?"
Like I said in my comment yesterday, Lifewave works hard at staying under the radar. The patch was carefully "designed" not to attract attention from government regulatory bodies. They made sure to claim it was "non-transdermal" (nothing enters the body) so no one would think there could be harmful side effects. The other claims made are vague enough to make users who felt nothing wonder if they themselves were the cause (wrong polarity, not being hydrated, etc). Can anyone know what constitutes a 40% energy increase? How do you measure something so subjective? Our percieved energy level fluctutes continuously so who's to say increases came from the patches or some other stimuli. Many would probably say they experienced a 100% energy increase just by seeing the boss approaching while sitting down on the job. No patch necessary for that.
I'm sure most people who spent $89.95 (plus shipping) and felt nothing simply forgot about it and went on with their lives. For that amount is it worth it to start a long and frustrating court procedure? The patches do nothing since they contain no harmful or active ingredients so there's no worry for Lifewave. |

That's what the money back guarantee is for. People who feel cheated get their money back (at least if they are persistent enough), thus stopping lawsuits before they happen. |

"No Excuses" Now With The
NEW Hypothalamus Patch!
"Dr." David Scmidt is so incredibly clever that in between visiting CURVES meetings to sell his patches, he has "invented" a patch that will mess around with your hypothalamus!

Last one:
"The patch will begin to work immediately, however the effect is cumulative, building to an optimum level after three or four weeks weeks."
Usual hurried typos...weeks weeks.
"Can I wear it in the bath, while showering or swimming?"
"Yes, but a new patch must be applied after contact with water"
So, wouldn't that be a NO?
And what about those people who wear the patch for three to four weeks without taking a shower?
"The highly-sophisticated formulations were developed by Dr. George Dodd, a renowned Scottish researcher and biochemist and the product is manufactured in the United States, utilizing the most advanced patch technology available today."
Not content to have a crazy Yorkshireman peddling his Harmony Chips we are now offered a "renowned Scottish researcher..."
Methinks there's a new thread here...

I love it!
Yes, it looks like Schmidt has a new copycat.
Just like LifeWave, Scentuelle works via "nanotechnology."
Just like Lifewave, Scentuelle claims to be "patented." ("Yes, Scentuelle is a patented technology and trademarked in most major countries of the world."), when in fact, it apparently is NOT patented. In fine print at the bottom the website says, "Scentuelle is protected by international patents and trademarks. GB03044688.5 & PCT/GB2003/000483. World-wide patents pending." Patents PENDING only means that they've applied for a patent, which anybody including David Schmidt and Dr. DeRock's horses can do, not that they've actually received a patent.
And what is this? The supposed international patent application (PCT/GB2003/000483) is actually a patent application for a compound used in hair dying, not for a libido increasing patch. (Go to http://www.wipo.int/pctdb/en/search-adv.jsp and enter PCT/GB2003/000483 into the search field, then hit the Search button and click on the link to see the entire patent application (WO 2003/070209 = PCT/GB2003/000483) entitled, "Use of Ceramides and Similar Compounds in Hair Care Compositions.")
So, is The Orion Group Ltd, the supposed maker of this fine product, an incompetent group of buffoons who have no idea what they're talking about, or merely baldfaced liars? And have they been studying David Schmidt's LifeWave scam as a model for their own? You decide. |

Ouch, another down month for Lifewave, according to Compete.com (http://siteanalytics.compete.com/lifewave.com/?metric=uv).
The good news for Lifewave is that when visitors visit Lifewave.com, they are viewing more pages than ever before. (Engagement tab >> Pages/Visit - Monthly)
The bad news is that the number of unique visitors is down 16.2% during just the last month. (Visitors tab, People Counts - Monthly selection).
The really bad news is that the number of total number of site visits to Lifewave.com is down 47.3% during the last month (Visitors tab >> Visits - Monthly).
One possible conclusion: People are reading more of the site than ever before, but deciding that they don't like what they read.
Perhaps David Schmidt has now pitched most of the Curves gyms in Southern California and is quickly running out of marks. |

Joel,
Perhaps the number of people willing to suspend disbelief is drying up?
Here's an interesting thought.
David Schmidt burst forth with his energy patch and the various claims of increasing energy levels by 40% etc. some years ago.
His explanations included talk of mitochondria, nanotechnology etc.
HIS EXPLANATIONS NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THE ENERGY PATCH CAUSING THE USER TO AGE MORE QUICKLY!
What's that?
In a recent copy of "The Economist" I read with interest an article about "Abolishing ageing, How To Live Forever".
The piece outlined why we age in the first place with gene mutations in mitochondria, "the cell's powerpacks", being mentioned along with other notable items.
Now, bearing in mind that David Schmidt has always been so excited about mitochondria and how his energy patches have so cleverly sent instructions for them to "make more energy", I was very interested in the article's section on mitochondria.
"Mitochondria are the places where sugar is broken down and reacted with oxygen to release the energy needed to power a cell".
This process requires a lot of oxygen, as anyone dashing for the train will attest! The problem is, according to the piece, that SOME of the oxygen goes "abscent without leave".
"Instead of reacting with carbon from the sugar to form carbon dioxide it forms highly reactive molecules called free radicals."
Mmmm, sounds familiar.
The free radicals apparently do plenty of damage through oxidisation of such important molecules as DNA and proteins.
That sounds like a bad thing.
So the energy that David Schmidt promised his patch would bring forth "40% increase within minutes" comes at a price.
Where was David's DISCLAIMER?
USE OF THE ENERGY PATCH SYSTEM WILL RESULT IN AN ASSOCIATED INCREASE IN DAMAGE TO DNA AND PROTEINS.
I must have missed that.
Now of course we know that where there's a problem someone will come up with a solution. Hence the entry of the ANTIOXIDANTS, which can be found in abundance in the market place.
In fact, didn't David Schmidt come up with his own antioxidant patch?
If you are a recent LifeWaver who has come across this forum recently, trouble not.
Schmidt's patches are a scam. The energy patch won't DIRECTLY cause an increase in oxidation as a result of the increased amount of exercise you are doing. They don't DO anything at all.
However, if you ARE exercising more than you used to because you believe the patches are working to give you the energy required, just remember about all those pesky "abscent without leave" oxygens playing havoc with your body.
Oh David, what a tangled web you weave! |

That's right, increased metabolic processes would necessarily result in increased aging. I guess that's why DS had to come up with the surgery free face lift patch, which DS and Teddy Allen are now trying to sell as the anti-malaria / antiradioactivity / hearing protector patch.
Actually, I can see how a LifeWave patch would protect against hearing loss . . . Wad it up and stick it in your ear, and it probably will protect against hearing loss. |

Right. So what if the patches are a total fraud, "invented" by a "doctor" who doesn't have any kind of advanced degree? So what if people have been misled into spending money on some silly little plastic patches based on the notion that they can do things which violate the known laws of physics?
Let's see if we understand your "logic," Regina. Some "traditional" medicines occasionally have negative side effects or don't work for all patients. Therefore ALL "traditional" medicine is EVIL and ALL "alternative" treatments are automatically superior to it.
Um, no. That thinking is irrational. The fact that some "traditional" (or "Western" or "allopathic") medicine can be less than effective in all cases is by no means proof that LifeWave does ANYTHING AT ALL. All the available evidence suggests that LifeWave does NOTHING. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

Thank you for your all too brief and simplistic post.
We have seen many, many posts by similarly naive posters on this thread.
By "free choice" I presume you mean freedom of choice.
In the USA as in many Countries, we have certain freedoms, but these freedoms come at a cost.
We are NOT free to SCAM our fellow man without consequences.
" That's why I actually have a life..."
The very fact that you are still here to make your post is in part due to the many rules and regulations that we are required to follow when conducting business in this country.
Take away regulation of any kind and see how far you'll get.
You will be at the head of the line to complain when your personal rights have been obliterated by the gready con men and sellers of scam products. |

As laughable as this all is, it's sobering to think that some people STILL buy into this SCAM.
As you point out, the LifeWavenc site is essentially unchanged with no NEW news to report.
The caption for a picture states "Lieutenant General Kiley, Surgeon General of the Army, undergoing a strength test by Dr. Steve Haltiwanger."
Of course, that's the EX LG Kiley. His decision making wasn't quite up to snuff as you will remember (veterans treatment etc.) getting conned by "fatty" Haltiwanger was the least of his troubles back then. |

LIFEWAVE'S PATENT APPLICATION - FINAL REJECTION
Lifewave's patent application, application no. 10669596, received a "final rejection" from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) on February 19, 2008. The phrase "final rejection" is a misnomer, however, because Lifewave can continue to argue its case simply by paying more fees to the PTO.
Essentially, the discussion between the PTO and Lifewave has gone like this (and I am vastly simplifying):
PTO: People have put similar substances into patches before, so your "invention" is not new, and therfore you aren't entitled to a patent.
LIFEWAVE: Yeah, but nobody has put those substances into sealed NON-TRANSDERMAL patches before.
PTO: Maybe so, but your patent claims aren't limited to non-transdermal patches, so this is the end of our discussion at least for now. If you want to change your claims to be for non-transdermal patches, and pay the fee to get another bite at the apple, we can then examine that as being your supposed invention. |

As you know, in the land of woo woo, Lifewave will just continue to state "Patent Pending" to imply a sense of worth and authenticity.
Meanwhile, as someone who has posted here FAR too many times, I must say it's all become rather boring.
I'm ALMOST at the stage where I think if people want to believe that Schmidt is truly the inventor of such an amazing technology that scientists from around the world would be shaking his hand, let them be conned.
We have attempted to carry out the all important "due diligence" as Bob Burtis keeps saying.
If readers really want to give away their money to a SCAM, then I guess that's their right.
Bless them.
Cheers Joel,

Lifewave does not merely claim that its patches are "Patent Pending." In their promotional video that is (or at least was) viewable on their site, they actually claim that the patches are "patented," which is a flat out lie.
As one of the Lifewave believers/distributors argued earlier on this forum, it's more important to Lifewave's distributors for David Schmidt to sell lots of patches than that he tell the truth. |

I derive mild satisfaction from knowing that Lifewave distributors get so irritated by the voices that continue on this forum to counter the voices of David Schmidt, his henchmen, and his (hundreds? thousands? of) minion distributors.
If the people that express their experiences, information, and opinions here can get their goats so badly, against the voices of so many, we must be saying something that Lifewave finds uncomfortably persuasive.

As a professional business analyst/writer, and a LifeWave distributor, I was compelled to comment.
I totally understand (and for the most part agree with) quite a few of the negative comments (I've read MANY on several sites), mostly regarding validity of statements made, and lack of David's willingness to open his past and reveal the truth - regardless of his background. And I am not pleased with personal responses I've read and/or received from the company regarding inquiries into supposedly factual data. LifeWave is indeed not openly communicating on important issues; this does concern me a great deal.
I never cease to be amazed at how the vast majority of companies operate with what I consider to be an incredible lack of integrity. This is unfortunately the "norm" in the business community.
HOWEVER!
Before my wife and I joined LifeWave, we experienced the pain patches, sleep patches, energy patches, and anti-aging patches; all proved to us they work very well.
MANY times we've seen or done a demo with the pain patches, with incredible results over 90% of the time. Are these results possible for a placebo when most of the people were skeptical? Something to think about.
My very painful carpal tunnel and arthritis in left and right hands, were gone in my first month on energy patches. Spots on my body that seemed to be obvious skin cancer, were dramatically reduced with direct placement of glutathione patches over them for a few days. My autistic niece is speaking almost normally after one month on the anti-aging patches.
I consider myself of high integrity, and am bothered by what I've learned about this company; yet the fact is, these patches work.
In order to help people, I feel compelled to share what is also working for most others who give it an honest try. They sure beat the drugs, and the "side effects" have ALL been unbelievably positive.
P.S.
1. We know the auto manufacturers are producing gas guzzlers intentionally, yet what's our alternative?
2. We know our politicians continually lie and cheat us, yet when given a choice of two con artists, we still think our vote makes a difference?
3. We know our media is almost 100% controlled by the elite, yet most people still believe what they see and hear on TV?
I think I'd rather buy products that work, from a company that is not in integrity, than listen to the total, life-threatening BS that doctors and drug companies inundate us with (and almost always get away with 100%). |

Hadta Post:
"Spots on my body that seemed to be obvious skin cancer, were dramatically reduced with direct placement of glutathione patches over them for a few days."
Do I understand this correctly, that you concluded that you had "obvious skin cancer," yet you chose to put "Dr." Schmidt's sugar patches on your melanoma rather than see an oncologist for confirmation/traditional treatment? Have you still not seen a traditional doctor and obtained a diagnosis of skin cancer or treatment for same?
As for the "incredible results over 90% of the time" that you obtained, I will issue the same challenge to you that I have issued to other Lifewave believers:
Lifewave has stated in their promotional literature that their patches don't have to be directly touching the body, that close to the body is close enough. So have someone take patches that have been used, and patches that are new, and place them in sealed pouches so that you can't possibly tell which is which from the outside. Then tape the pouches to your body and see if you can consistently tell the used patches from the new patches merely by the "incredible" effect they have on you. If so, then maybe you're onto something. If you can't tell the difference, then at the very least you know that used patches work just as well as new patches, and that you and your customers will never have to buy any more patches ever again.
Let us know the results, will you?
In the meantime, if you conclude that your wife or daughter has "obvious skin cancer," I would suggest that they see a doctor, and immediately, rather than apply sealed sugar patches over the cancerous tissue. |

Did you really?
Now I feel obliged to respond. Oh well.
Firstly, I appreciate your comments although they are a tad transparent.
The points you have raised have been covered on this forum in exquisite detail by a number of posters.
At best, you have admitted to being a con-man peddling the LifeWave "products" while rationalizing every move you make.
At worst you are a con man who has made up every last word of your "testimonials".
I'm not sure what's worse.
Given that skin cancer KILLS people (should you be unlucky enough to have the "bad" kind) it really is laughable that you would try Schmidt's scam patches on a "try it and see" basis.
Presumably, the rest of your family is as bright as you are.
"I consider myself of high integrity..."
Now there's an unwarranted belief.
The words INTEGRITY and LIFEWAVE just don't sit well together, never did and never will.
So, all in all, after you just had to post, you have proven to be no more enlightening than MANY other "LifeWavers" who have tried to stir up a little enthusiasm for their cause and their bottom line.
I trust you will have achieved neither.
p.s. Please get a real dermatologist to check out your self diagnosed skin cancer.
If Eva Cassidy had caught it earlier, who knows, she might still be bringing light into our lives.

Hadta Post sounds like he is essentially claiming that LifeWave patches cure cancer.
The FDA might be very interested in that claim, especially if it's David Schmidt or Steven Haltiwanger ultimately responsible for that post. Can't somebody go to jail for falsely claiming that the product he is selling cures cancer? |

Here's a crackpot website you may enjoy:

It might be phony woowoo science, but it might be a real tax dodge!
Spray inconsequential quantities of Hydrogen into your car engine and claim the alternative fuel tax credit!

Thanks to those of you who responded. You opened my eyes; I was deceived.
Like so many others, I fell trap to the BS put out to discredit good companies.
While I at first DID agree with some of the issues you brought up regarding disclosure of company related information, it makes sense for someone to NOT put their personal information out there to be picked apart. I've been taught a good lesson of misinformation; thank you.
The five of you who banter in this forum are good at your game, and I must admit, I fell trap to it at first, yet for all others who read this, please be aware that there are people out there who are paid VERY WELL to discredit good companies who offer products MUCH better than the drug companies poop poopeee doo.
You 5. Get a job to help change things for the better, not make things worse. If your conscience bothers you too much to sleep at night, try the sleep patches. They work very well.
I've wasted enough of my time. I'm going back to building a successful business with EXCELLENT products and good people behind them.
People are literally sick of medicines and drug company trained doctors.
LifeWave is awesome, and is the future of health care. |

P.S. Hopefully I'll never be sucked in by lying, deceitful, fear-creating people like you 5 again, and I hope my first email has not caused anyone in LifeWave or someone looking at it to think poorly of a company that is very much in integrity.
I understand now why they do some of the things they do. They are very aware of your misinformation crap, and no longer waste their own time giving you ANYTHING to rip apart with anything BUT integrity.
You 5 didn't get my goat this time, but you did the first time. |

Hadta Post certainly got caught in this group's manipulative trap. I've heard about the misinformation groups out there, yet until now didn't see one so obviously creating bad feelings and fear. WOW.
Thank you Hadta Post, for helping me see this clearly.
Times are changing gents. The good people of the world are beginning to stand up and speak their minds. Your influence may be strong with those who are unaware of your tactics, yet the good people out here are making a difference.
Hadta Post had a good idea. Those FEW of you who are discrediting (or at least trying to discredit) good companies, need to get a better job. One you can feel good about. Of course, I wouldn't hire you. You have a negative, brainwashed belief system that either has too many side effects from all the medications you take, or you're just too swayed (and dependent upon) by money.
By the way Joel. I read Hafta Post's statements. Your FDA "fear" comment was clearly unfounded, and an obviously stupid statement. Way to go dummy; you put egg all over ALL of you who are trying to discredit Lifewave.
People interested in Lifewave. JOIN. Now, more than ever, I'm totally convinced it is an incredible opportunity.
Do your own personal investigation. Try the patches and see for yourself.

Thanks Newbee Blogger for confirming my feelings about what was going on in this forum. Looks like Hadta Post got sucked in. Glad he/she saw the truth.
I heard there were groups that try to discredit good companies, yet until now, I haven't seen it so clearly.
I too have used the patches and I am amazed at how well they work. I'm not taking medications any more for pain, and my skin problems are going away.
I am with you on Lifewave. GO GO GO for the best opportunity I have ever seen.
I'll bet those five people in this forum are one man posting as five people. I read the posts, and the personalities change from one post to another. I think it is a man because most women wouldn't be so harsh to others.
Question to you one/five:
How much do you get paid by the drug companies for doing this? Let's be honest; those of us who REALLY know who you are and what you're doing, would like to know. Unless YOU are afraid of being honest about what you're doing (likely the case), and afraid of losing your crappy job (likely the case).

Cathygirl:
"I'll bet those five people in this forum are one man posting as five people. . . . How much do you get paid by the drug companies for doing this?"
That's very funny. You'd lose that bet.
I'd be happy to meet you the next time you're out here in the L.A. area, maybe attending one of David Schmidt's nightime sessions pitching his miracle patches to 25 people or so in a strip mall Curves gym in Westlake Village. You can probably meet EDHUK in England as well, and Cranky Media Guy is, I believe, the same guy who has his own website by that name.
Nobody pays me to post here. I'm just a guy to whom somebody tried to sell Lifewave patches once, and who had a belly laugh when I investigated Lifewave, and who enjoys exposing lies, which is part of what I do for a living.
Don't be so surprised that there are actually people who donate some of their time to help people, including by exposing SCAM products like LifeWave. If digging up and disseminating information on SCAM products like LifeWave without receiving any pay for it is beyond your comprehension, well, that tells me something about you and what motivates you.
And those of you who posted recently: Which of you would advise someone you love who has what appears to be scan cancer, to put Lifewave's sealed sugar patches over the suspect tissue without seeing a doctor? Come on now, be honest, raise your hands, stand up, and proudly be counted. |
