Trampoline Baby

image I just received an email from Dave Simpson with the attached image. Dave says:

Here is a photo of my son, Connor, on our backyard trampoline in Alabama. He was four months old at the time. Feel free to post it on your site.

So I'm stumped. Obviously a 4-month-old infant couldn't bounce themselves up and down on a trampoline. So how was the picture taken? I have no idea.

The Trampolinis Just say Nomad, from what I hear. As to whether Dave Simpson is a woman, I won't guess. My guess would be a man, based on how he held the camera. Hangin' to the Left

I'm surprised. I thought that the Trampolinis would be partial to a drop of moonshine...

Well, kangaroos Are their totem, and, as you know, and I've never known a 'Roo to pass up a grain alcohol jello shooter. They like snuff in the pouch, too

But, just because the lady's name is Dave, doesn't mean she's giving 'shine to the kid, or the trampoline. And, babies have their own crack

Well, it definitely looks as though the trampoline's getting no 'shine...could do with a bit of WD40 though.

My mom was partial to a 1/2 cup of Aqua Net Hairspray mixed with two teaspoons of Murphy's Oil Soap. Worked wonders around the house, and was a fine social lubricant.

Murphy's? I've always used Pledge.

Why would leaves need to moving? I imagine when you jump, they catch a little air, but they don't bounce like a person. I think babies getting exercise is pretty cool- start them early and keep them off candy. This kid might just be a olympic athalete some day. It's real.

Surely baby's this ugly do not exist. It is a double hoax....

(LaMa, in a mean, bad mood......)

Ugly? I guess you missed the link on the Dusty Ads Mania thread, which showed us Baby Boy Bulmash, the Musty Tees Mascot... http://www.geocities.com/pnttheleb/MUSTYTEES.html?1107792140840 Dat's ugly

Come on, Connor's a cute baby. Especially with that hat on.

yeah... that kid is kibda cute... Y'know, the more I think of it, is this a Subliminal Thread suggesting the trampling of babies? Stepping on Rugrats? oh,wait i didn't mean "Rug"
Posted by Hairy Houdini  on  Thu Mar 24, 2005  at  04:25 PM
Whether they are Trampolinis or Bumbles, you should never step on children, even to stop them from bouncing. How do the 'Roos do it? Put them in your pouch-works every time

Connor is one of the cutest babies I have ever seen, and is quite talented. Not only can he jump on a trampoline at 6 months, but he can also speak 3 languages at the age of two. LaMa needs to snap out of her mean bad mood and watch who she's calling ugly. That is if LaMa really is a woman. The picture is real!!!!!

It's not a cute baby (sorry, I think my own kid is the cutest baby of all time), it's not a real pic...I'm a little confused as to why the comments went on for 4 pages....Bizarre.

That kid is ugly. Not Elephant-Man ugly, but he's ugly. And he stinks. You stink, Senor.

I can't figure out why so many think that this is not possible. The Wallendas trained their kids to jump at two months old and could walk a tightrope by SEVEN months (This has been documented). He looks like he's jumping to me. Frogs can jump, and they're smaller than him.

Frogs are frogs. They are designed with long legs with appropriate muscles for jumping and swimming. Human babies are a completely different physiology. Humans are designed with legs for walking and running, not jumping for any great extent, let alone 6 month old babies who barely walk. And just think, baby frogs can't jump!

booch, documented by who? Ripley's?

I saw a film about it once... little babies jumping, and some were swimming under water. Then they would jump INTO the water and swim. ALl at the age of six months. I think there was a shark involved at some point too, but don't quote me. This is for real.

perhaps the easiest way to do this is loft the child in a high arc in the direction of the trampoline (without much spin on him)and snap the picture while he is in mid air falling towards the trampoline...children are not too heavy at that age, plus this would explain how he almost looks like he is over the front edge of the trampoline instead of the center

easy, its a picture of the baby laying on its back, its much to close to the camera to be jumping on the trampoline, there would be nothing for it to jump on. the baby was edited in the picture

easy half the trampiline isnt in the picture soo he stood on the side threw him had partner shot the pic

if all you have to do with your life is decide what is wrong with this picture you need to get a life

If the baby was jumping the trampoline would have an indent in it (it also would if someone was standing on it and holding the baby and later edited out). I would assume that someone held the baby somewhere else and then photoshopped it over the trampoline.

Why should this picture have been photoshopped? I think it's real. My dog already started walking on the first day he was born, and could jump (even without getting help from me!) after 3 days! And this cute little baby must be at least 3 months old...

See how the leaves on the trampoline are not in the air? If the child had really jumped, at least one leave would still be in the air cus he jumped so high. So obviosly, the photoshopped the kid in. duhhh

photoshop.

had to take a pic of his son next to something of the same color. like the effect of a green screen.
took a pic of the trampoline. and placed the pic of his son.

:-) well if you lot wrer not to stupid you would know a baby bounes if you drop it. it's bone would not brake, as they are to soft.

Not sure how they got the picture of the baby bouncing like that, but it is pretty unique if anything - maybe just off camera some one dropped the baby onto the trampoline. If someone was a good photographer they'd only need one good bounce to get a shot -- maybe.

That is crazy. My kid was walking at 10 months but I've never seen anything like that!.
