Is Jim Morrison Alive?

image Most people think the musician Jim Morrison, lead singer for the Doors, died in Paris on July 3, 1971. But Gerald Pitts says that he "discovered Jim Morrison Living on a Ranch in the Pacific Northwest in the summer of 1998." According to him, Morrison is living a quiet life as an American cowboy "away from the Hollywood scene." Even though Morrison evidently engineered an elaborate death hoax to escape publicity, he agreed to appear on film for Pitts. You can buy a copy of this film for only $24.95 (shipping is extra). Pitts' site includes a video comparing the features of Jim Morrison the fifty-something cowboy to Jim Morrison the twenty-something singer. However, no matter how many times I watch the video, I just don't see any similarity.

Frustrating indeed, when you don't quote the post or part of the post you're responding to...

I will try to be more careful.
Ray Manzerick was not along for the ride.
We realized that this was a news agency. The first to find us. Having no idea who they were or who had put them up to it. The first day and the second Bill would have interviewed had they been straight forward. Sneaking around in the brush for a candid photo did not make them more popular.
Brett interviewed Manzerick shortly after in L.A. for the segment. That is how Ray saw my photo comparisons. Asking if he had proof. Never shown on Current affair. Brett and I continued to talk by phone. He was always on a mission after that. The last one, somebody had seen Bigfoot in Canada. This was before the phone call to Ray in So.Oregon.
So read it clearly about Dr.Hales. Retired out of Dallas. Working in Southern Oregon. I support him fully. So leave him out of this chickencrap argument of bantering facts..of the past that leads up to this. But if you must. Dr. Hales is quite available. I talk to him periodically. He is excited and finds it quite fascinating. He also believes this is Jim. That's about all you will get out of him.

You sound like the lawyer for He's Dead. And not a real good one at that.
We already have more information that he is alive than you do dead. I'll second that.

You don't have to go back; I quoted the post I was responding to. That's all I'm asking you to do.

And I can also tell you why I got snotty with you a couple of days ago, Your first post followed immediately after one of mine, so of course I assumed you were talking to me.

And I don't hate you, I just get exasperated with (what I see as) hippy-dippy pseudospirituality, is all... 😉

It was pages and pages ago.my cut n paste is jammed.I was getting angry with an RK who makes claims to a video, and others who talk so matter of fact about jim. and the family.the negativity towards the family must be combated, and I'm an irish scrapper. So,I really do apologize for any misunderstanding I had with you,and anything I said before I knew who you were.

You insult me.My spirituality is Not immature whatsoever.bits and pieces I may give here(my choice),but that is not a total reflection of who I am.

I'm in a hurry so I'll make this quick:

Horsey, didja see the winking smiley after I said "hippy-dippy pseudospirituality?" Didja? If not, here it is again: 😉 Means I was just razzing you, okay?

And Logan, you said

We already have more information that he is alive than you do dead.

That's utter nonsense, and I expect you know it.

As for your alleged "forensics expert," you still haven't addressed the real question: What was he comparing Loyer's x-rays to?

...because unless he had dental records and/or x-rays of the real Jim Morrison for comparison purposes, his claims--if indeed they are his claims and not yours--are worthless.

Finally, a post I made to a well-meaning woman who had been roped in (temporarily) by the Loyer/Pitts circus, and who really believed, as she posted on 5/11/01 at 5:40 p.m., that:

July 3, 2001 is the date that has been set for Jim to come forward publicly. ...

At 6:56 p.m. on 5/11/01, I responded:

For the last time, you are being lied to. This is a scam.
BTW, the suggestion that the real Jim Morrison would deliberately put Pamela and the Morrison family and Ray and all of us who loved him through the kind of hell we went through after his death, is beyond hateful. I can't tell you how I despise this imposter, whoever he really is.
Posted by Janet Erwin  on  Sun Jan 17, 2010  at  11:51 AM
I remember fighting that fight when I first had my say.It is cruel to do this to his flesh and blood and the people who love him dearly.
Posted by know it all  on  Sun Jan 17, 2010  at  12:01 PM
Know it all, I wouldn't call it "cruel" because I don't think Jim's flesh and blood and those of us who knew him personally have ever had any doubts that the man himself is (physically) dead, and that Loyer is an imposter.

In other words, none of us got our hopes up when we heard about "Jim" supposedly being alive and living in Oregon; we all knew from the get-go that it was a scam or at best a delusion.

Whether or not your Feelers are hurt, it comes with the territory.

I question how well some of you "knew Jim"
There appears to be no dental records or xrays of Morrison's mouth at maturity. If you find some you take it to Hales.
Posted by David Logan  on  Sun Jan 17, 2010  at  02:15 PM
At the time of his death it was so hyper intense and out of sync. It was a tragedy. At the lowest point it was a tragic relief. The high point was the secrecy, the mis-information and information that no one had seen the boy. Dr. Vasille not commenting. This happened right out of the box. And of course the news statements made by Pam in following years that Jim was alive. I cheered him on. As well as did the hippie underground and some societal sorts. Bricks and sand in the coffin is not a new theory. As a matter of fact it was out before July was up. Distraught in Oregon July 1971.

You're wrong Logan. At the time of Jim's death Agnes Varda saw his body, Pamela saw his body, the Count saw his body. That's three people who saw that Jim was dead.
Posted by Salli Stevenson  on  Sun Jan 17, 2010  at  11:22 PM
Thanks Salli. But was he? As the herion (china white) wore off and he began to warm up? Even the morgue is alot warmer than an ice bath.
Old Vasille knew something or perhaps he was just being respectful.
I can easily see how a somewhat rare circumstance like this could happen and so can you.

They found his passport, Paris in the airport. Nobody refuted that. Who threw that down?

Did Pam help him? I watched too. Very Closely.

Jim Morrison means alot to me too and I know clearly why.

Artist.

Yes how much confusion did posters like Andreii and Keri do this website, vowing authenticity and then never to be heard from again. But again I say good riddance. Did Morrison actually fake his death and head to Africa, following in the footsteps of his hero Rimbaud, who became a slave trader and gun runner shortly after completing "A Season in Hell"?
Posted by Jlizard  on  Mon Jan 18, 2010  at  08:09 AM
What do you mean they found Jimbos passport at the airport. Never heard that one before. Ice bath? Would that mean Jimbo was certainly dead? Hmmm. Sounds confusing.

Big Tom.
Opiates slow your heart down. Enough will stop it. You must cool the body tissue down in short order or fever sets in. You try to match the heart rate. 1 or 2 beats a minute in extreme cases. Or maybe less. A young heart is a tremendous thing. The doctor could have easily mis-diagnosed someone who is ice cold and been wet for near 4 days. Heavy opiates take 4 days app. to clear your system under those conditions. This was the process used on Jim. They were familiar with it. A cold almost Stasis, capable of prolonging life.
This Jim told me he woke up in the morgue. A shave and a haircut,
and his story goes from there.
Hence the beginning of Bill Loyer.
Pronounced Loyea. William J. Hi Bill

Pamela didn't want attention. She was truly better than the Doctor.

The Doctor, God bless him, wouldn't necessarily want to admit 2 days later that he had pronouced the world's greatest rock star dead. Especially if..

I believe the Death Certificate was legitimate.

Science fiction novelist Robert Heinlein wrote "The Door to Summer" and"Methuselah's Children" in the 50's.There is also Larry Niven's "A world out of Time".I'm sure you have read.A Hibernacuum?certainly not a virtrification. They didn't have HetaCool or Hextend in 71,which has only been used on animals and only just recently done with many scientists and doctors present to administrate.Frozen Embryos are only sucessful in a lab.Pamela was no expert scientist in cryogenics.A morgue is kept on the positive 4degrees c.and the negative down to minus 25 degrees c. With cold stasis, to go in temp must be precise at 4degrees c with no ice.the going in and coming out must be PRECISE!Consistant. Morgues are Not warm places. The thought of that happening is indead facinating!but that is quite a stretch.and that would be the only way to combat those that were there. The actuallity of being sucessful, given location, air temp, water temp, body mass, weather,is extremely impossible. And embalming has not been mentioned.

You are saying she kept him cold for 4 days?he was seen that day!and evening!ill look for the proof, let me check my sources and ill get back to you on that.Wait a minute!are you saying Pam kept him chilled for 4 days without freakin out! And that her timing was perfect???o.no.Certainly you've never had that kind of love that they shared. That is nuts!and if that was the case ,she would of done it with him, not for him.
Posted by horses afterthought  on  Tue Jan 19, 2010  at  08:51 AM
Opiates can cause tachycardia as well as bradycardia.Given the quantity and temp doesn't neccesarily mean the heartrate would slow.Actually the opposite would and likely occur therefore causing a fatal heartattack.
Posted by horses knowledge  on  Tue Jan 19, 2010  at  10:31 AM
I believe there may be a way to settle this once and for all: X-Rays. If Jim's down there, then bones will show up on the screen.
Posted by Will  on  Tue Jan 19, 2010  at  10:51 AM
I am not saying she did it perfectly. After a few days she iced him down. After a few more days she called authorties. The boys he was doing business with took him to the apartment and put him in a cool bath. Whether she was asleep or came in the story varies.
Almost always herion slows the heart rate. Hence the "nodding off" Arrythmia is always present. Heading towards bradycardia and at the last possibly experiencing tachycardia and then myocardial infarction.
Cyanosis had to be present. That is a blue discoloration of the skin and mucous membranes caused by insufficient oxygen supply to the tissues. The range varies.
Posted by David Logan  on  Tue Jan 19, 2010  at  01:44 PM
She was there to protect him.
Posted by David Logan  on  Tue Jan 19, 2010  at  01:48 PM
The boys took him to the apartment after ripping him off. She tried to keep him alive.

The brain can slow down or speed up the heart rate to meet the demands of changing conditions. The brain does not cause the heartbeat. A small mass of tissue within the heart called the Sinoatrial node is the pacemaker. Electrical impulses arise spontaneously and stimulate contraction. When the Sa node is not functioning properly arrythmia results. An impairment in the conduction of the impulse from the SA node is called heart block. Normal contraction does not occur.
Cooling the body down to match the heart rate was imperitive.

Imperative.

Steed. I am aware of what you talk about in part.
Have read only a few books twice, other than study. The Bible, The Forgotton Star and maybe a Louis LeMore. My first read (author?) was about a Canadian Mountain Man. Next, required by school actually, a man lost in the wilderness. He didn't make it.
