Vampire Sites

Here's a couple of vampire-themed websites sent in by visitors. First we have the Federal Vampire and Zombie Agency. According to the blurb on the site, "From 1868 to 1975, the Federal Vampire & Zombie Agency (FVZA) was responsible for controlling the nation's vampire and zombie populations while overseeing scientific research into the undead. This site is a tribute to the men and women who served in the FVZA, especially the over 4000 Agents who lost their lives fighting to keep our country safe." And next we have The Temple of the Vampire. If you want to live forever, then all you have to do is join the temple. The catch is that in order to join you have to buy their book, The Vampire Bible. That's a good sales gimmick. I should try something like that for my book, such as if you want to achieve a state of absolute enlightenment, then you have to buy my book.

A less miserable life

Second, most Satanists have many talents and the majority are highly intelligent and use their skills to be successful in the real world.

Also, titles in the Church of Satan are rewarded based upon success in the real world, as Peter Gilmore has stated many times in interviews.

I have also known of other Satanists who are not members of the Church of Satan who are highly successful in the real world. Many of these Satanists have very good educations, good jobs and have their own businesses.

Your assertion that all so-called vampires and Satanists live "miserable lives" is not an accurate representation of most so-called vampires or Satanists that I have known of.

You don't hurt my feelings, yet you are showing your ignorance of both religions and their supporters by such a misleading statement.

However, I do find your satire to be entertaining. 😛

Also, some Temple members would argue that they do not "believe everything," as you accuse them; yet, after they argue this, some have been known to believe the mythology in the VB before even validating the teachings. I witnessed this on many occasions on their messageboard.

The TOV reading list a longgg while back included Sitchin as essential reading. Dont know if they still do but-

TOV is mess of contradictions-

The Undead gods have abandoned the need for bodies at all. But you need cryogenics to preserve your physical body.

There will be an apocalypse. But somehow the cryogenics will survive and technology will progress enough to revive you.

Vampirizing will keep you unusually youthful. But the head of TOV walks with cane.

and as far as COS

WE ARE THE ELITE OF THE EARTH

yet they couldnt even raise enough cash to save the Black House

WE ARE THE ELITE OF THE EARTH

which -leading- scientists and artists are COS members? Kenneth Anger was probably the most esteemed, and he hasn't made anything since the 70s.

it's all over-compensating BS

The tov and the cos are both scams. Neither establishment are leaders of the sheep community. Nor, are they spearheading anything technologically, scientifically, artistically, or otherwise. They cater to outsiders because nothing else is able to skim from them. Don't be a victim. Be yourself. Grandiosity is the hallmark of the fool.

@janesays:

Scientists who are CoS members obviously wouldn't out themselves. CoS philosophy actually discourages that.

However regarding artists, apparently you've done no research. If there's one criticism that cannot be reasonably leveled against the CoS, it is that they lack artists. Chris Cooper is probably one of the most recognizable pop culture artists. Nevermind Marcus Mayer, Diabolus Rex, etc etc.
Posted by Noname  on  Sat Aug 21, 2010  at  01:22 PM
Did I say they lacked artists? No. Did I say a group proclaiming itself as the Elite of the earth should contain Leading figures in various fields? Yes

Those 3 names you listed could not be construed in any way as significant artists. You sound like a COS fan-boy ,not someone knowledgable about art. I can assure you, none of those names are a blip on the art scene, or will be remembered decades from now.

If you care to explain their aesthetically ground-breaking importance, I'd be happy to read it. That would make for some amusement.

Will you trot out Michael Moynihan and Marilyn Manson next? Yes, important composers on par with Stravinsky...lol the elite indeed.

and a big LOL@ the secret, important scientists affiliated with the COS...More pathetic smoke and mirrors.

I agree that there are many who have differences with the CoS (that is an entirely different topic) and I would like to add that the real forum topic here is whether or not the ToV is a hoax. So what do you think about the ToV?

Bottom line...
It's a religion. All religions require money to run.
Arguing its legitimacy is as useful as arguing the existence of god. It's a waste of time, effort and most importantly just shows how intolerant the majority of society is these days.
It can therefore NOT be proven as a "Hoax" BECAUSE it does fall under the "Religion" category. Anyone that wants to continue to debate this issue is nothing more than a moron with too much time on their hands.
Posted by derp  on  Mon Aug 23, 2010  at  07:25 PM
lol...wait, derp, aren't you a moron too? considering you read the messages and took time to remark upon them?

A religion can't be proven to be a hoax? what kind of reasoning is that? the existence or non-existence of god can not be proven, it's not falsifiable. However, once again, we CAN note the glaring contradictions present in the tov-

Your contention is as retarded as saying that the fundamentalist christians' claim regarding the age of the earth can't be refuted because it's in the domain of religion.

The whining about the "intolerance" present in society is precious too. We're talking about a group that discusses lording over the planet. lol

You're either a frighteningly dim person or someone with a financial stake in the TOV.

"Did I say they lacked artists? No. Did I say a group proclaiming itself as the Elite of the earth should contain Leading figures in various fields? Yes"

So who says the Satanists must be a champion for society and help make the quality of life for everyone as a whole better? You seemed to have missed the boat. Satanism is about improving your own quality of life. While you believe Satanists should measure themselves by some standard set by society they just live their own lives as their own Gods.

Who says that there aren't leading figures in various fields? Why the fuck would a Satanist be required to wear his affiliation on his sleeve just to prove to what others the Church of Satan is capable of?

By the way, if you think you can do better than Diabolus Rex then YOU'RE the one whose dreaming.

So, COS members are not important figures in the arts and sciences because that would be altruistic? lol this is some peculiarly pathetic reasoning.

The COS has always proclaimed itself superior, the haven for the elite, etc. Anyone with minimal sense can become an egoist. The simple act of indulging yourself doesn't make you part of an elite. Are you intelligent enough to ferret out these distinctions?

It's quite comical that you don't see the cultural relativism youre endorsing here, which was one of the very things Lavey claimed to be combating.

"Who says that there aren't leading figures in various fields? Why the fuck would a Satanist be required to wear his affiliation on his sleeve just to prove to what others the Church of Satan is capable of?"

This is as laughable as proclaiming "who says god doesnt exist, why would he need to come out and prove himself?"

The COS is always quick to tout any minor achievement by any member, down to crappily produced newsletters of middling intelligence.

You appear to be one of those sorry COS members who live in a fantasy realm where you are part of a "hidden empire" (Lavey's phrase). A mighty hand behind the scenes that couldn't even cobble enough money to purchase their most important shrine (the Black House).

"By the way, if you think you can do better than Diabolus Rex then YOU'RE the one whose dreaming"

That stuff looks like Giger knock-offs. Perhaps you should go to a real art museum in any major city....anyway... once again...proclaiming yourself THE ELITE OF THE EARTH should actually signify something, unless you wish to become an object of ridicule.

Feel free to demonstrate your superiority janesays. Incidentally, exactly which modern artists do you consider elite, and which modern composers do you consider the new Stravinsky?

Interesting that you choose to compare them to the best artists of centuries past rather than against other modern artists and composers, most of whom are...underwhelming, to say the least. Maybe you're one of those braindead dolts who foists the likes of Pollack up as "art" because his paintings sell for a pretty penny.

Given that you're busy barking up the skirts of your superiors, why will I not be surprised when the question of "What have you done" is blown off? Be sure to let us know when your symphony makes the Met.

PS - Scientology sounds like the right religion for you. You seem easily impressed by celebrities and would appreciate the starpower that religion has to offer you. Hail Thetan!

Sorry to hurt your feelings Janesays, but I think Diabolus Rex is an H.R Giger rip off. How about a better example?

There's no question that the tov is a fraud. There's no question that certain members of the cos endorse the tov. However, by the cos's mere silence, the whole of the cos endorses this fraud. This is typical because "high ranking" tov and cos members are involved in both organizations. Regular members are afraid to speak out. Moreover, high ranking to whom? I guess only to themselves. Of course these organizations say they are "leaders" of the world and in their fields. If they said they were losers, or behind cutting edge, would you pay them your money? They are both frauds. Especially the tov.

Glad that you are voicing your concerns about the tov, and if you are a cos member, then more power to you! I just hope you would do the same within earshot of the upper echelons of the cos.

And David, Erik, George, "Ishkur" and the others. I know what you're thinking. I know the lies you have been saying about me.

I am not "throwing a tantrum". You can't have the whole Internet deleted, can you?

And, finally, I am more than one person. This is not a bluff.

Lu Yang,

If they were true to their threats, they'd have the undead vampire gods after you, tormenting you night and day, wouldn't they? But you are still seemingly alive and well. All their spooky talk, and nothing happens when you speak against them. Nothing happens at all, because it's all just a hoax. One big, giant, repulsive, soul-sucking, and humiliating lie.

What they say about you only holds meaning to the (minority) groups you have left, a very tiny and irrelevant fragment of society. In the great scheme of things, what they think doesn't mean anything; It has no impact on the real world. So you got rejected by a group of outcasts. LOL that's no big loss.

I am quite sure Anne Rice's fictional vampires have had more of an impact on society than the TOV ever will.

They've already lost the battle, as they do every time another member walks away in disgust, once they find out what it's really all about.

As a 2nd degree Warlock in the CoS, I thought it would be worth while to say that Gilmore has recently started to have quite the difference of opinion to Nemo and his "ToV". I know someone who recently spoke to Gilmore about the whole "CoS & ToV Relationship" and Gilmore is getting fed up with it.
The cherry on the cake for Gilmore was apparently this:

read it all the way through to the last link provided.

It's not a religion, I can't see that it ever would be a true religion. It is something made-up and fabricated for the money it brings in.
It IS a rip off and I feel for anyone dragged into all this enough to part with their hard earned cash.

There are NO such things as undead that we know of - prove yourself as undead to me if you really are. If you can't, then I rest my case.

Yes this is the internet, but what "LuWank" and others are doing is illegal. You're reproducing imagery of people in real life and assigning values and organizational membership to those people without their consent.
I find it amusing that the joke of a "Wikia" page on the ToV was also deleted.
Yes I have concerns about the ToV like most people here but when idiots are using illegal and unreferenced means to get their messages across... that's when I, and other intelligent people draw the line. What the fuck was with the person that said "ToV is a scientology cult" on Wikipedia and used the REFERENCE to the vampiretemple.wikia page that provides hear say and bias baby-crying. Fucking "LuWank" again. You're a joke dude, fuck off and die.

Get a fucking life people.

Here, have a tissue. Sniff, sniff. Nothing illegal here. If those people didn't want to be 'outed' they shouldn't have posed pretty for the camera. If they are members of the organization(s) listed, then no defamation has been committed. If they don't like it, then they should just stay in the closet.
Posted by Anonymous  on  Fri Sep 17, 2010  at  10:26 PM
F this and F that. 'Intelligent people' getting a message across.

They (TOV and others) are getting exactly what they deserve, by whatever means. It's about time.
