Interviewer Who Can’t Stop Laughing
Status: Fake
image A (foreign language) video clip is going around that shows a talk-show host interviewing a man and a woman. When the man starts speaking, the interviewer cracks up. The more the man speaks, the more the interviewer laughs. It's a funny video, because the guy's laughter is highly contagious. But was this a real interview? No. The clip comes from a Belgian comedy TV series called In De Gloria. Apparently the faux interview is about medical mishaps. The woman is paralyzed because of a surgical error, and the man's voice was altered by a throat operation that went bad.

Does anybody know what the name of the production company is that produced the sketch "Dutch TV presenter won't stop laughing"?
----------------------

The company responsible for In De Gloria (the show that the Boemerang sketch is from) is Woestijnvis, a Flemish-Belgian television company.

No prob!

I've been doing some research also and I am also having some trouble trying to find out if this actually happened or if it is a hoax. Someone please shine some light on this for me.

It's all true, this is fake. Boemerang is a "sketch" from a Flemish (Belgian) comedy show that ran in the early 2000s, it was called 'In De Gloria' and the actor playing Erik Hartman is Tom Van Dyck, a local actor/comedian. Same with the guests, they're played by Lucas Van Den Eynde and An Miller. All Comedians 😉

In case you hadn't noticed, we tend to have a surreal sense of humour...

Jerry, you sound like a real producer! If the actors appear in other skits then of course it must be fake. Just because you couldn't tell they were actors doesn't mean it was because they weren't, it's because they were ACTORS! After all you're a producer, not a creative.

Omg!!! this is the video that made me laugh so hard, I couldn't stop for 13 min! But the host of the tv show was fired, now he's working at radio.

Claire... didn't you read any of the comments? None of this is true... it's a sketch... just like what you can see at "Saturday Night Live" and "Mad TV".

This is what I call art! People that can make you smile, even if you feel like crying. They really have talent.
