Vampire Sites

Here's a couple of vampire-themed websites sent in by visitors. First we have the Federal Vampire and Zombie Agency. According to the blurb on the site, "From 1868 to 1975, the Federal Vampire & Zombie Agency (FVZA) was responsible for controlling the nation's vampire and zombie populations while overseeing scientific research into the undead. This site is a tribute to the men and women who served in the FVZA, especially the over 4000 Agents who lost their lives fighting to keep our country safe." And next we have The Temple of the Vampire. If you want to live forever, then all you have to do is join the temple. The catch is that in order to join you have to buy their book, The Vampire Bible. That's a good sales gimmick. I should try something like that for my book, such as if you want to achieve a state of absolute enlightenment, then you have to buy my book.

"Why is CI member "nemo" flogging cryonics to his disciples and ostrasizing them if they don't get a cryonics contract? "

The unfortunate aspect of this situation is that his "disciples" are not just being ostracized but they are being prohibited to advance in their chosen religion until they purchase a cryonics contract.
Let me put this more clearly: the new Temple member is taught that true power, immortality, and freedom lie at the other end of the Temple of the Vampire bridge, in what is called the Vampiric Condition which is exemplified in the Fifth Circle(the highest)in which one becomes a Vampire Adept.
Now even if the new recruit does not care for cryonics, the promise of enlightenment which awaits them at the highest level of Vampire initiation is dangled before them from the get-go.
After a couple of years and a new identity forged by applying the beliefs of the new religion, the member will strongly desire to go all the way up the highest level, because that is where all the "good stuff" is hiding.
If immortality and all the supposed super powers of the "Higher Teachings" are obtainable upon purchasing a cryonics service, if you are a True Believer, you will do it. No matter what it costs you. I am sure you have heard of reports of such behavior from members of certain other religious organizations.

"You are purposely applying the art of misdirection here to serve your own transparent agenda( that the ToV promotes cryonics for ethical purposes which has been refuted again and again on this site)."

That's called Poisoning the Well:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poisoning_the_well
You're also tossing in a good dose of argumentum ad populum:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argumentum_ad_populum
BAD reasoner! BAD! No cookie!

"I don't believe for a second that persons referring new clients and acquiring new contracts for the Cryonics Institute do not receive any compensation for their referral."

You mean, like, every immortalist organization ever does? They must ALL get kickbacks from cryonics!

Oh, what a clever conspiracy! That must mean TOV is behind all immortalism!

Hmm...

"No one is suggesting that there is money being funneled to the ToV organization."

So TOV makes money on cryonics... without receiving money that's put toward cryonics?

Wow. That's one hell of a clever scam!

"Nor has anyone suggested the Cryonics Institute would have to "be in on it.""

It's called reductio ad absurdum:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reductio_ad_absurdum
BAD reasoner! BAD!

"Individual salesmen are being compensated financially for selling policies/services to new clients. This is not unusual. I work in the insurance industry and am an independent agent and make a living selling a variety of life insurance products."

So you're claiming that TOV gets money by referring people to cryonics by selling life insurance.

(a) Why wouldn't they push life insurance primarily instead of cryonics in particular if that were the case?

(b) That would mean they could only profit if people buy from particular insurance salesmen. Sounds like they require cryonics, not purchase of a life insurance policy from an approved agent. Unless you're suggesting that all life insurance people are in on TOV, which would include you...

(c) If they're making such a killing on selling insurance, why would they need to sell books, jewelry, etc.? As you've observed, doesn't that undercut the nature of their scam? They'd do far, far better to give away their memberships and at least their main book and then use this cleverly crafted social pressure to get even more people to sign up for life insurance. But instead they're trying to get people to pay before getting a chance to be exposed to their main money-making sales pitch? You're seriously suggesting that? :O

"Again, you are asking the reader to ignore the facts and look elsewhere."

I could say the same about you.

Poisoning the Well.

No cookie.

"From the moment you go to vampiretemple.com, you are bombarded with "testimonies" to sell you a variety of bibles, jewelry, and memberships. The Temple insists it's members seek new recruits (the "Temple Mission".)"

Oh, so because the Catholic Church seeks and collects money the Pope must be intentionally scamming everyone. *facepalm*

All groups have operational costs. Those need to be met somehow. It seems far more likely that TOV uses its fees and products to pay for printing and shipping and sysadmin work and on and on.

Not that I really care. It's either a scam or a cult. Either the leadership is running a (dumbfoundingly poorly executed and paradoxical yet strangely enduring) money-making scheme or the people at top eat the same baloney they're feeding everyone else.

Not sure why you have such a vested interest in proving it's a scam. It's like your sense of self worth is tied up in believing that TOV is intentionally evil rather than just stupid. Funny thing is, the truth don't care what you want to believe.

"What I don't understand is how Peter Gilmore can permit his seemingly respectable organization to associate with the Temple of the Vampire scam."

When something consistently fails to fit your model, there's something consistently wrong with your model. You can't have a Peter who in good faith leads a good organization and yet is in on and supports a scam that undermines the principles of the good organization. Either Peter gets painted with the same brush that paints TOV or you're wrong about TOV.

If you start out disliking TOV and then look for evidence against it and then find it, alarm sirens should go off in your head. For the same reason alarm sirens should go off when you hear Christians getting "proof" of Jesus in their oatmeal. Humans are really really bad reasoning machines. They start with their decisions and then look for data that makes them right. Noone's intuitions are so good that they're rarely surprised by where the evidence actually points. So if you're not surprised by what you find, that should give you pause. The "evidence" you find might be for that you're obsessed not that you're right. Good reasoning requires actively looking for and embracing reasons why your initial guess is wrong, 'cuz you'll find reasons you're right without hardly trying.

Course, if you're starting with your conclusion rather than the facts, you'll be reading everything I'm writing looking for why I'm wrong. You'll get all uppity that I didn't give you a cookie, probably stick your head out a little and tense your shoulders, and look for ways you can make me look like a dumbass. You'll probably try to shove a conclusion in my mouth again too. After all if I'm not agreeing with you that TOV is evil then I must think TOV is good right? *facepalm* If you think this way then you aren't being reasonable. You're just being stupid.

If you don't care about being reasonable then that's your problem not mine. But you look like dumbasses rejecting reason while claiming to expose the truth of TOV.

There's no money in cryonics.

TOV pushes cryonics.

Ergo, TOV ain't in it for the cash.

This isn't rocket science, people.

Wow !jill, you seriously just leaped to the conclusion that I'm Mark Pulse because I blew a crater in your crazy talk? Wow. wowowowow.

Seriously, just stop. Your leaps of faith and "reasoning" worthy of David Icke just make you look dumbfoundingly stupid. Wash your brain and come back when your thoughts correspond to reality somehow.

Mu,

I have nothing against the original teachings of the Temple of the Vampire, before cryonics was added. I have great respect for Peter H. Gilmore. Peter is a shrewd businessman, that is why he will continue to accept money from "vampires." I'm sure he views the ToV as being harmless for now but you never know when that opinion may change.
All that I have an interest in is making people aware that they have to purchase a 28k+ cryonics contract in order to gain access to the Higher Teachings promoted on the Temple website.
This fact is not mentioned on the Temple of the Vampire website as it would obviously make potential new members turn away. If you read the comments on this site, you will see this has already happened and will continue to happen.

Remember, when anyone does a google search on the Temple, they will find this message board listed right beneath the Temple main site! So rest assured, most people interested in the Temple will find their way to this board and afterward make an informed decision on deciding if to "proceed further" or not. 😊
************************************
My goal is just to associate the word 'cryonics' with 'Temple of the Vampire' in everyone's mind.
*************************************

That may not mean much to you(because you already drank the kool-aid) but it will set off the bullshit detector alarm in peoples minds, particularly CoS members who are not so guillble.
You my friend may not see it that way. It may be a long time before you accept the fact that you have wasted your money, emotions, and time , and in fact realize that you've "been had."

First cryonics and now aliens and ufo's?
Where do the vampires come into the picture?
So the ToV is a UFO cult that forces it's believers to buy cryonics life insurance policies?

We will keep the Grades as they have been.
I will start it up if enough want to. I'll register website and set up phbb board.
No fees. Just the Teachings in their original and highest form. No association whatsoever with the Temple of the Vampire or the Church of Satan. No connection with Satanism at all.
Let us gaze from the Throne of the Dragon and find Agreement on this event which cannot be put off any longer.
Please give a shout out if interested.

@Pendragon

The trouble with trying to start another ToV is that Nemo will come after you with all his legal threats regarding the use of his teachings. It could be done, but you'd have to rewrite everything. And I mean everything. Any likeness to his books or cherished winged skull and he'll send all his goons out to smear your reputation and go all-out to get you and your website shut down.

Ironically ToV's winged skull is little more than an Egyptian winged disk with a skull added, and HARDLY an original idea. I'm amazed they were able to get it legally trademarked, if indeed, it even is. The teachings as well, are nothing new other than the fact they are repackaged ideas in vampire trappings, with some spooky threats added to scare you into submission.

What would be funny is if someone DID start a new ToV and offered all their teachings and grades for FREE. Meaning NO CHARGES, NO FEES, NO SUBSCRIPTIONS, and FREE DOWNLOADABLE READING MATERIALS.

The question is, why continue on with all the lies and deceit? Their books make such ridiculous claims! There are some truths there, but also an equal or greater amount of complete BS.

My only advice is that if you start a new group, you cut out all the horse shit. You could then probably condense all the teachings into a single tome of just a few pages, similar to the vampire bible, minus all the gibberish and spooky talk. You could make it into a PDF file that members could download for free and save on their computers.

Unless of course, you're just looking to make money. Unfortunately vampires and werewolves are already covered. Maybe start a Temple of the Zombies?

Just remember, no actual eating of human flesh! Do not break Zombie Law. Do not incur Zombie Wrath. We are Rotting! *joking*

Seriously though, if you can create a better organization and one that costs nothing, then you could steal all their members and effectively put them out of business. I am sure with the current economic downturn, there isn't a member there that doesn't question if it's 'worth it' on some level.

I have started the Temple of Bananas in Pajamas.

Communion consists of blowing up a banana until you see monkeys in suits.
Posted by Dangus  on  Mon Oct 25, 2010  at  05:39 AM
if you do start a group, get rid of the whole energy draining from "prey" and feeding the "undead gods."
The only reason that works is because you've made it work, made it REAL through repeated tries. Anything the mind does over and over again it will MAKE real.
Nemo knows this.
Try substituting "communion" with a charka lifeforce meditation instead.
It will work all the same. I've been doing it for three years instead of communion. It works perfectly. You don't need to drawn energy from anything since you are the powersouce already. It follows the 7 laws.
I'm in SC. We can meet up around if you're in the area. I can travel. What is your email address?

What you need is the Power of Jesus.
Welcome Jesus into your heard and he will fill your life with eternal blessings. That's the problem in America today, with the secular atheists removing Good Christian beliefs from our schools.
If you think Jesus is not real, what if you are wrong?
You have nothing to lose by accepting Jesus into your heard.
If Jesus is real, you have everything to gain in Heaven.
Pray this prayer,
Oh Lord Jesus, who art Good Right and Jest,
come ye fourth from thy Eternal abod and rest ye here in my heard. I accept thee as my Lord and Savior. Show me the blessings of your Heavenly Kingdom, Oh Most High.
Let me be now with Jesus forever and ever."
That's all it takes. Jesus is the Real Truth and it is your duty as a Real American to accept him into your heard.
Think about it.
Help us take America Back from the alien renegades who are occupying it. All it takes is faith and acceptance of Jesus.

You speak foolishly not knowing the love Jesus has for you.
Even if you dont aceept him in your heard, his love for you grows more. Make America great again and vote against the alien renegades next Tuesday. Let America be back in the hands of Real Americans.
TO the German, there is no seperation of church and state in the constitution. The only atheist was jefferson and he did not speak for all. America is a Christan nation of Christian people. Know it. Learn it. Live it. Like it or leave it.

I suggest a class-action lawsuit against the Temple of the Vampire for selling physical immortality and then not being able to deliver the goods.

Members pay ToV money for "immortality" and in return ToV tells them to go buy cryonics, which is not immortality. It's a rip-off.

If you watch that Eucrio Video you can see Styles is claiming he trained to be a Paramedic during his Military service -
He is also claiming he was discharged from service with the PARATROOP REGIMENT on "medical grounds" - The Paratroops are a elite fighting unit and very hard to get into. so Its's PRETTY UNLIKELY he would of been accepted unless he was a carreer soldier. He is only 25 years old how did he get the time to scam vampires, learn 4 languagues, AND train to be a paramedic in the army? I got family in the army so I will find out more about it - but lets just say its probably 100% horsemuck. Shit as far as I know the Paratroops don't train as healers they are killing "machines" - 😊

Why did he get discharged? was it really medical grounds or was it because he is a sex freak? I know the army doesnt like sex scandals especially its ELITE fighting units.
