Here's a couple of vampire-themed websites sent in by visitors. First we have the
Federal Vampire and Zombie Agency. According to the blurb on the site, "From 1868 to 1975, the Federal Vampire & Zombie Agency (FVZA) was responsible for controlling the nation's vampire and zombie populations while overseeing scientific research into the undead. This site is a tribute to the men and women who served in the FVZA, especially the over 4000 Agents who lost their lives fighting to keep our country safe." And next we have
The Temple of the Vampire. If you want to live forever, then all you have to do is join the temple. The catch is that in order to join you have to buy their book,
The Vampire Bible. That's a good sales gimmick. I should try something like that for my book, such as if you want to achieve a state of absolute enlightenment, then you have to buy my book.

In order to be an Adept, you need to pass through five grades of increasing expertise. Think of it as analogous to Plato's cave. To go through those five grades, you must put into practice the vampire teachings and testify that you have proven them to be true beyond a shadow of a doubt.
The Temple has five Grades or levels of accomplishment. Unlike almost all other organizations involved with the occult, the Temple allows the member to testify that he or she has accomplished their Grade. In this way the burden for validation rests on the member's shoulders and is not an issue of favoritism, for example.
Here is a summary of the Five Grades of the Temple Initiatory structure:
The First Circle emphasizes doubt more than any other. Vampire Initiates have agreed to seriously test the Temple and it's Teachings, and are given access to the most basic of the Higher Teachings. They must verify the fundamental elements of the Vampire Condition.
Second circle Vampire Predators accept that the Temple is real and practical, but still question the reality of Those Who Have Risen. They are charged with personally verifying that reality and fully embracing their soverneignty as Living Vampires.
Third Circle-Hekal Tiamat-Priesthood of UR knows beyond any doubt that the undead are real. The Vampire Priests and Priestesses turn their ambition towards joining the Gods as equals. To that end they work with Vampiric Sorcery, learning to reshape the very structure of reality to match their will.
Fourth Circle Sorcerers and Sorcerersses have produced tangible results through Sorcery. This lets them feel as much as see the fluid nature of reality. Thus, they strive to encompass their new personal knowledge within a cohesive vision: The Twilight.
Membership in the Fifth Circle is the highest recognition the Temple grants a Living Vampire. Vampire Adepts have tasted the Twilight and seen from the Dragon's Eye. They strive to make that Condition a regular state of being and, in many cases, assist those in lower Circles with their goals.
You would have had to testify five times to validating five different aspects of the vampire teachings in order to be an Adept.
If you were indeed an active member of the ToV, was each of your five testimonies that you had verified the Temple teachings a LIE?
Again, unlike almost all other organizations involved with the occult, the Temple allows the member to testify that he or she has accomplished their Grade. In this way the *burden for validation rests on the member's shoulders* and is not an issue of favoritism, for example.
So Lu Yang simply lied in order to move to the next higher circle of the teachings and then lied again and so fourth. How unfortunate that her self deception led her to testify to the Adept grade, if she indeed possessed that grade as she proclaims.
Now say you were the student who lied about understanding the physics course to get their grade and then went out into the world and was asked about it. Of course, since you did not understand the coursework in the first place, it may all seem to be way over your head.
You see, you were never TRULY an Adept. Just a scared little girl who gets through life through lying and exaggerating every situation in her life. Is that not true, Lu Yang?
I can be alone in a room, hyperventilating into a mirror, and due to the physical effects of that action I will start seeing "things" in the mirror. If I suspend disbelief long enough I will deceive myself into thinking that what I saw in the mirror was "ghost" or, god forbid, an "undead god".
Simon, all the stuff the Temple teaches are bullshit. Lies. There is no such thing as the "astral", the "dragon", or the "undead gods." The only world that exists is the material - here and now. Anybody walking into the Temple, wanting to see all these "otherworldly" things will undoubtedly be experienced by them - you can close your eyes now and choose to see anything: it's called imagination. It does wonderful things!
Now, based on these truths about the universe (it's material), anybody who has "verified" the teachings of the Temple is, without a shadow of a doubt, lying to themselves.
Now take your pathetic rhetoric elsewhere, please. And keep licking Nemo's ass while you're at it.
And, if requested, I can provide ample proof that I was a Temple "Adept". Emails from George "Nemo" Smith and such. I won't, though, since I risk revealing my identity to the Plastic Fangers Club. And anyway, the title was meaningless, as it is to every other "Adept" in the ToV.
Now, take a deep breath through your nose while tightening your anal sphincter, hold your breath for a few seconds, then release it slowly and fully through your mouth. (All these, along with the tightening of the anus, are common practices in oriental martial arts such as karate-do, qigong and Iron Shirt martial arts, as well as olympic weightlifting and powerlifting).
Keep repeating this breathing exercise and you will soon feel more energetic, and your skin might begin to tingle.
Why is this? The Chinese call it Qi. Or life energy.
But we know it isn't "energy". It's simple. We just gave out bodies a boost of energy due to increased oxygen intake. There is nothing else to it. And the tightening of the anus causes intra-abdominal compression (useful in martial arts and weightlifting), which at the same time increases blood flow to the limbs. This explains the tingling.
No, you're not practicing "vampirism" by drinking people's "lifeforce."
See?
The Temple's teachings are all lies.
That's Mrs Lu to you, Simon.
And no, I have no need to exaggerate on the very important achievements in life (ie. material, as opposed to "astral").
I am financially independent and have been so long before I joined the ToV.
And please, show some respect. Little girl? I am probably older than most people here.
So Lu Yang admits she lied when she testified to her Temple Grades.
So much for any value in anything said by Lu Yang, who admits to have falsely testified to have validated the Temple Teachings in order to move up through the Grades.
This should not be surprising.
I always knew Lu Yang was a fake.
Case Closed.
What you are saying is that ToV doesnt want people that understand or question the teachings just sheep who blindly follow and believe.
Even if Lu Yang lied to get to adept level is she any different to a "preist" who has just been ordained in a conventional religion? You think that educated men and women of the cloth do not question thier beliefs or even change thier minds about thier religion?
If ToV is a fake religion then it stands to reason that its belivers are "faking" thier beliefs to get to "adept status". To then sell these people promises via plastic fangs, strange books, cryonics and "magic" rings is just scamming believers!
BTW i just got made a peice of toast which resembles the virgin mary - $10K and its yours.
Case Back opened....
I don't know if I didn't make it clear enough - there is no such thing as "lifeforce" or the "astral", let alone entities such as the so-called "undead gods".
Yes, I admit I deluded myself into thinking all that fantasy was true. But a desperate mind in search for answers (such as myself back then) will cling into any delusion as if it was a fact. So long as that delusion gives them a sense of purpose. Such is the power of religion.
As a kid, I was a Buddhist, because my parents were Buddhists too and my grandparents before them. I was a firm believer that Guan Yin listened to my prayers and all that I requested of her became a reality.
Now I know there is no such entity as Guan Yin and that Buddhism is false. As are all religions.
In this instance I was deluded, and, you could say, lying to myself.
It was no different with the ToV.
Many of you were probably Christians at some point. And you ceased to believe. You ceased to lie to yourselves.
Does that make you all "fakes", then?
George Smith tells members that they don't have to actually believe what he claims. That they have to question every he says. He tells them to "test everything, believe nothing." And that's fine - it's a rational way to approach any claim.
But then he tells them that in order to become "undead gods" by progressing to all his fancy grades they actually have to verify his claims as true. In short, Smith asks members of his cult to actually believe that his claims are true, whether the evidence is there to prove them or not. (And if "evidence" is present, it tends to be subjective and anecdotal, such as the stuff you experience during the act of "vampirism" and "communion").
Does anybody else see an internal contradiction in the way Smith sells his teachings to his followers?
Apparently, Smith's rhetoric is good enough to blind even savvy Satanists.
Temple of the Vampire members - you are being had. You have been duped. George C. Smith is a con artist and is scamming you. All the money you pay him goes to his pocket. And what does he offer in return? Lies!
So why should anyone here trust an unstable mind? So far you have admitted that:
1.) You are desperate.
2.) That you lie.
3.) You need a sense of purpose.
So rather than the Temple being your religion being anti-temple has become your new religion in order to fulfill this new sense of purpose.
Interesting....
I was desperate (I clearly stated that - you don't seem to be able to know what a past tense is).
I lied to myself - simply because I was deluded. Millions of people lie to themselves on a daily basis: whey they pray, when they worship their imaginary gods, etc.
Am I dishonest? No. I consider myself a reliable and honest person.
And no, I don't "need" a sense of purpose - all I need is myself, my husband and my wonderful children. All of this together gives my life a greater purpose than any religion.
I am simply anti-Temple because I want to be. And because I detest religion and how it deceives people. It doesn't make me any less of a person. Your opinions on the matter are, to me, invalid. My anti-Temple stance doesn't replace my former devotion to the Temple's "teachings".
Think twice before you speak.
* This world is material (ie. made of up matter).
* There is no "astral" - therefore, "lifeforce" does not exist, and neither do the "undead gods".
* George C. Smith's TOV teaches that "lifeforce" and the "undead gods" are indeed real. Therefore his words are lies.
And the truths I speak are something any rational person would say. Any rational person would agree with my assertion that the ToV is a scam.
Your Pepsi analogy is invalid.
George Smith sells promises, which ultimately end up being empty. So to sell someone a product with a promise which fails to deliver results is a scam in my book.
Now, show me why the ToV is not a scam.
Who are you anyway? A ToV member? A loyal supporter? Nemo's home boy?
For the same reason that billions of people devote much of their time to worshipping an imaginary good.
The ToV is a religion like any other. That, in effect, makes it all a lie.
Does that make more sense to you now?
"Yes, I admit I deluded myself into thinking all that fantasy was true. But a desperate mind in search for answers (such as myself back then) will cling into any delusion as if it was a fact. So long as that delusion gives them a sense of purpose"
The Temple does not request that you "believe" anything. There is no dependence on faith on any aspect of the Temple Teachings. You verify the teachings for yourself. If you try them and find the results lacking then it is best to be honest with yourself and move on. But if you lie to yourself and then lie to the Temple to get to a higher grade, because you needed a "sense of purpose" then you are only deluding yourself.
Just because you really really want to understand a difficult physics equation does not mean you will be able to.
You can tell your professor and classmates that you do understand and lie to pass the exam and get the "title."
But in the end, you only cheated yourself and now find yourself questioning how the other "classmates" could possibly understand the difficult physics equation that you could not.
The answer is very simple.
Your classmates did not cheat and lie and were honest with themselves.
Lu Yang, you have been exposed for the fraud that you are. Accept it.
"George Smith sells promises, which ultimately end up being empty. So to sell someone a product with a promise which fails to deliver results is a scam in my book."
First: If you didn't see these promises as valid you most certainly would not have paid the fees for membership right?
Secondly: Membership is an option and most certainly NOT required. You obviously made the DECISION to WILLINGLY join and pay the membership fees. That is of your OWN doing.
Third: The Temple offers services such as an active message board and Bible. Well that costs money. They also offer Graded Memberships for a Title and that cost money. You paid and got the message board and your title and your Bible. Any validity behind the Title rests upon the testimony of the person. If your testimony was bullshit then that was your own fault.
So what you are implying is that George Smith's teachings and outlandish claims are actually true?
Or are you falling into the fallacy that "it may not be true for me, but it may be true for someone else"?
As far as I am concerned (and anyone with a bit of logic), the ToV's claims are all false. I'm sorry to keep repeating this. But the claims made by Smith in his "bibles" are just not true. The scientific and historical evidence to negate his claims is all around us.
How can you expect anyone to believe anything you say when you yourself have declared that your entire experience within the ToV was one big act of "self deception"?
You my girl clearly have issues..and they go far beyond the ToV.
No. Not even close.
Consider that there are people who are in this world with different capabilities. Some are artists, some are sculptors, some are mechanics, etc. Now I am a sculptor and you are a mechanic...does that mean me being a sculptor is invalid?
I simply lied to myself during my time in the ToV, just like its most devout members are.
I will say no more.
Good night. It's late here.
Just because you lied to yourself does not therefor follow everyone else lied to themselves. Not everyone has the mental unbalance of self-delusional hypocrisy that you seem to be projecting.
Everyone in the TOV is lying to themselves - they just haven't realised yet. 😉 I comment Lu Yang for having realised it by herself!
So, ToV'ers, when is the Final Harvest coming along?
I'll sit here to watch and wait for it.
Why am I not surprised by this unexpected turn of events?
I think she should seek help for her unresolved psychological issues outside the confines of a message board!
A different approach now I see? The last attempts at diverting the subject failed and now this is the new approach?
The evidence is overwhelming. The ToV sucks people in. Its a scam. A cult by definition like any other.
Cryonics anyone?
So, dear Plastic Fangers, I request that you point out Lu Yang's "lies" here on this blog.
At least she had the decency to admit that she was deluded in the past, while the Plastic Fangers continue to revel in self-deceit. Conviction is what this is. Despite Faelyn saying otherwise in his book.
This place is one of hatred towards a new religion. That is the only purpose of this message board.
The Undead Gods have been silent on this issue.
They are silent no more.
This is the moment to step away from the lies and the hate you spew.
Those who hate shall suffer financial loss.
Those who speak against the Temple will feel weak tomorrow and forever more.
Those who have spoken against the Temple, will be haunted by encounters with what they fear the most forever.
This can not be undone.
Such is the price for folly.
Such is the cost of ignorance.
Your failure is now and ultimate.
How can this be so, you may ask yourself.
How can I have now suffered these most undesirable circumstances?
How can this be so?
The answer is simple.
Such is the Power of the Undead Gods.

"This is stupid. None of you have any knowledge of the ToV in the first place. Research it. Purchase the Vampire Bible to find out the truth about this lifestyle. If it suits you, become an active member and explore graded membership. Only then, after you have done those things, can you be sure that you know what you are talking about.
The only way to discover the truth about the ToV is through.
This board serves a purposes in removing the wheat from the chaff. The Museum of Hoaxes is an instrument of the Undead Gods, used to to protect the teachings from those not worthy of them.
It serves it's purpose well.

Not really a coordinated effort, I would say. Seems like the temple is divided about how to deal with this blog. If MoH was serving its purpose, why are members trying to get this locked?
And Simon needs to read all the posts here. Some of us actually have studied the temple material. That much is painfully obvious.
There is nothing wrong with realising you were deluding yourself and then turning away from the lie. People build up delusions about being vampires even without these people "helping" them on the way.
However, these attacks only illustrates too well the tactics and conducts of the temple of the vampire. Threats, bullying, aggressive yet clumsy rhetorics are what this community offers its members. Not immortality. Not a unique and guaranteed path to success. Only the "advice" from charlatans with a very loose grasp on the concepts of proof.
"It is a system not used in academics because it is sacred and operates on honesty and individual honor."
Yes, you don't get your grade simply by saying you have understood the curriculum. You get your grade by demonstrating your understanding and ability to use what the course has taught you. There is no "honesty and individual honour" involved.
Your attempt to use academics as an example is rather inappropriate to say the least. If you meant it in another way than I have pointed out, then pardon my misinterpretation. Your dribble is very, very badly composed.
Let me make it simple enough for you:
Academics grade = Display of understanding and ability.
Religious rank = Display of belief or lying through your teeth.
What does this tell you?
1: Using academics as an example shows your lack of scolarly principles as well as rhetorics.
2: Since Lu Yang confessed to believing the teachings at that time, all the accusations of her lying holds no ground.
This is the simplest way to put it. Persistence in these attempts to discredit people here will only make your intellectual shortcomings more obvious (how difficult that may be).
"1: Using academics as an example shows your lack of understanding scholarly principles as well as rhetorics."
Pardon my blunder. English is after all my third language.
I doubt you are a member of the ToS. If you are, then you are just a I*. They don't suffer idiots for long. You are young and stupid. You are excellent future ToV material. 😉
1: Using academics as an example shows your lack of scolarly principles as well as rhetorics.
2: Since Lu Yang confessed to believing the teachings at that time, all the accusations of her lying holds no ground.

I take it that English is not your first language.
You don't even know how to spell!
How is it discrediting to point out that Lu Yang who is the chief 'ex-member' with a grudge on this list, ADMITTED in plain English for everyone to understand (even you Sand)that SHE had NOT achieved the Temple GRADES that she TESTIFIED to!
She ADMITTED she got her GRADES (TEMPLE DEGREES) DISHONESTLY through LYING. It does not matter if she was lying to herself because she desperately wanted to believe she was something that she was not and NEVER was.
So now that Lu Yang has been exposed as a DISHONEST lying basket case, those of you who have no idea about what the Temple is and talk trash, are all up in arms having your *superstar* unmasked as a pitiful poser.
I am not upset at Lu Yang, I do think she should get some professional help for her unfortunate emotional situation. Everyone has the opportunity to fall and make a mistake. What matters is how we get back up.
Is the Dayside Mastery book available to the general public?
How many years does it take to get initiated into the Fifth Circle Vampire Adeptus?
Thanks.

All serious inquiries regarding the TOV should visit http://www.vampiretemple.com
That is the only official TOV site and you will find your answers and perhaps more there.

You stupid Vampire wannabe crack heads!
down with the vampires temple!
So you really want to convince people that your "religion" is legit when an unknown number of people in the highest rank could very well have merely lied to get there? Awesome thing you guys have.
Actually isn't that what this whole hoax thing is about? That the title is meaningless, all it takes is spending money and lying to get it and therefore it's not worth jack?
There you have it ladies and gentlemen. Case closed, by word of the ToV itself.
PS Making personal attacks on an ex member on some anonymous comment thread really makes you guys look like a bunch of classy people. Kind of like a ghetto version of Tom Cruise.
Dear Plastic Fangers,
Your tactics show how pathetic you really all are. You are lowly, sad people. And your behaviour does nothing but convince the readers of this world that your Temple is nothing but a cult.
You don't even know how to spell! LOL"
I take it you didn't read the correction I made when I came back a bit later. Yes. The one right underneath the post you attacked.
Attacking someone's grammar and spelling is a typical trolling tactic, not something you should do when building up an argument. After all, I didn't right away point out Simon's inability to properly distinct between "its" and "it's".
"It serves it's purpose well."
See?
"How is it discrediting to point out that Lu Yang who is the chief 'ex-member' with a grudge on this list, ADMITTED in plain English for everyone to understand (even you Sand)that SHE had NOT achieved the Temple GRADES that she TESTIFIED to!

Hm. Seems like I wasn't putting it simple enough.
Ok. Listen closely. Lying is speaking falsely by intention. Expressing your faith is not, as the speaker in this case believes he/she speaks the truth.
There. Should be understandable. Even for you, YoungWolfisaloser.
"So now that Lu Yang has been exposed as a DISHONEST lying basket case, those of you who have no idea about what the Temple is and talk trash, are all up in arms having your *superstar* unmasked as a pitiful poser."
Again, the distinction between lies and speaking out of belief is quite obvious. And she did come back to her senses when she left the temple, remember? Please look up the definition of "lying" and "belief", since you seem to struggle with the concepts.
But thanks for making it painfully obvious, that you can become an adept through simple deception.
Dear Plastic Fangers,
Your tactics show how pathetic you really all are. You are lowly, sad people. And your behaviour does nothing but convince the readers of this world that your Temple is nothing but a cult."
What tactics??
YOU come here and talk trash about how the Temple did this and the Temple did that and the moment your ruse is exposed, you cry foul!
Seriously speaking, I understand your current emotional state is fragile to the recent situation you find yourself in. I have been asked to go easy on you, so I'll try.
Lu Yang, instead of wasting time on the internet responding to unfamiliar names, you should really seek to try to put your life back together. You may find some healing in locating a good psychoanalyst. Some may think you as deceitful, dishonest, and a plain bold face liar, but I think you are just a disturbed and frightened child.
As a concerned person, I suggest you return to your doctor and the meds.
You need the meds again.
Your insults do nothing to deter me.
And who told you to "go easy" on me? The "undead gods"? Hahahaha.
No, I am not emotionally unstable. In actuality, I am a very happy person, living a happy life.
Why do I speak against the Plastic Fangers Club? I detest it. And because I can. I detest George Smith, his son Michael and his hypocritical wife Ruth, as well as the whole ToV crowd in New York.
And if I dislike something (like I do the ToV), I will say it. Why? Because I can.
"Seriously speaking, I understand your current emotional state is fragile to the recent situation you find yourself in. I have been asked to go easy on you, so I'll try."
And I ask you: what emotional state? What "recent situation" do you speak of?
Look, just wake up to the real world. Your "vampire" games will sound ridiculous to any person with common sense (something that ToV'ers rationalize with their so-called "Truth of the Lie".) That's because it's all a god damned lie. Stop deluding yourselves, little "vampires".
If that were so, you would not be wasting your time on a message board speaking ill against an applied religious philosophy which you were unable to put into practice.
A "happy person, living a happy life" would not need to remind strangers on the internet time and time again of her "happiness."
Anyone with a little intelligence can see right through you.
"Why do I speak against the Plastic Fangers Club? I detest it. And because I can. I detest George Smith, his son Michael and his hypocritical wife Ruth, as well as the whole ToV crowd in New York."
The real reason you are angry at the ToV is because you were unfit for the ToV.
You were not intelligent enough to make our applied religious philosophy work for you.
You so badly wanted acceptance from us, that you lied and pretended to be one of us.
No matter how hard you tried and how much effort you put in, you were not able to get the results you desired.
So you lied as comes naturally to you.
You are still upset that your own efforts revealed you not to be one of us, not a vampire, and you went off crying into the sunset.
You are not a vampire Lu Yang.
Now you are a disgraced poser who looks back at the wasted years lost by her own lies and self doubt.
So continue to attack the religion that prides itself on extending a passage to potential immortality to those who seek it. A religion that assists thousands each day in being their best.
Vampires are born not made.
Some like Lu Yang purchase the Vampire Bible and do not get results, because THEY ARE NOT ONE OF US. Instead of leaving like a rational person, she stayed on year after year and continued her string of lies, in order to maintain a false identity to boost her fragile self. YOU CAN PRETEND TO BE A VAMPIRE. YOU EITHER ARE... OR YOU ARE NOT.
If you are, welcome.
If you are not, we wish you the best on your way to your destiny.
Then there are those who have little intelligence and try to pretend they are something they are not because of their self loathing...these are the Lu Yangs of the world.
