Black Spider Club, Part II
Last week I linked to The Black Spider Club, which describes itself as "the worlds most exclusive club". Today I've received an email from this exclusive club:
Hello Alex
Can you please remove the 'Black Spider Club' from your website. We are not
a hoax and by listing us on your site, you have made us feature on google.
Thanking you in advance
Regards
Membership
I feel kind of special that they noticed me, them being so exclusive and all. However, I'm not sure how to react to their request. Are they serious? If they are, is there some kind of right to privacy on the internet? You can create a site, but then ask no one to link to it? Anyway, I never said they were a hoax (I just want to clarify that). I don't actually have any idea what they are.

Hmmm... in the same general time frame as the hype about "Return of the Sith"...clandestine...mysterious...bound to provoke attention...fake addresses...I've got it...it's actually pre-publicity for Episode 7, 8 & 9 of the Star Wars saga. A diabolical idea to introduce a new character(s) and story thread for Lucas films...

I don't know if anybody else noticed this, but the domain name http://www.blackspiderclub.com is not owned by anybody.
I've also seen a few references to Limp Bizkit as "Da Bizkit". The site defintely isn't what it claims to be. Probably some sort of promo for said band.

Because if they're a VIP club which, by the way, I find unlikely, they're going to tell you anything?

I'm thinking that if The Most Exclusive Club in the world has a domain name of two misspelled words with a reference to sweet bread products it doesn't really seem all that impressive to me.
'exclusive' means that it's just him and his mate.

This could be the beginings of a nice game of hide and seek. Just noticed that they have moved the site, how long before someone can find it and post here?

Someone named DaBizKit replied on a few websites--with different ways to say the word poop. Yes it's true. Just search for Dabizkit on google. I'm just trying to figure out this mystery. Anybody else find anything? I'll post if I can find anything at all.

Ooh. Nice find! I'm determined to get to the bottom of this one... Anyone else?

get to the bottom of what? the site doesn't exist anymore! ok connections with limp bizkit, how do you know the person who ran the site wasn't a limp bizkit fan, or, becuase they get found out often they just pick a randon person, group, cartoon film etc to base there site on? next one could be .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (lord of the rings if your smart enough) LOL

I wouldn't want to encourage any criminal activity, but using a fake physical address for domain name registration was a big mistake on their part, this means anyone could hijack the domain name and see who's visiting their website. But please DO NOT act stupid people! That was just a simple observation, not a suggestion of any kind.
