Love in the age of Facebook
It's hard to tell how much of this story is genuine. Stuart Slann supposedly learned the hard way part of the truth of the old joke that on the internet the men are men, the women are men, and the children are FBI agents. In Stuart's case, Emma, the woman he thought he met on Facebook, was actually two guys playing an elaborate prank on him. Apparently they lured him into driving nine hours to meet Emma in Aberdeen, and then they revealed the truth to him.

And since this is the age of YouTube, the pranksters also created a video (now widely viewed) to celebrate the humiliation of their victim.

I am not going to watch the video...I'm boycotting stupidity on the internet. (Not on Stuart's part...but on the part of the two tricksters.)

I just hope we'll hear a news story in a few days about he got really pissed off and beat the snot out of those bone heads with a baseball bat or something. No murder though, because that's not funny at all.

This is true. I am not really Raoul, The Psychic Gangster of Love, I am in truth George W. Bush, The Masked Bicycle Rider of Texas, and I have no penis...Ha ha hah, don't believe me, Raoul is just fooling for you. Don't worry, Raoul has a penis, unlike this GWB, who is the penis, yes? Okay, I am fooling on you again, so don't go off the end, bro. Rrrraoul

Meagan, I agree about stupidity on the internet; Looking for 'love' on the Net is like looking for foreskins in a synagogue.

Actually, since love doesn't exist, looking for it anywhere is irrelevant and fruitless. We would all be better off if the whole fnatsy was exposed and discarded from life.
