Unfortunate Last Names

I've always thought my last name was pretty bad. And I mean that in the literal sense. 'Boese' means 'bad' (or angry) in German. But its meaning wouldn't matter much if only English-speaking people could pronounce it (it's 'burr-za', as if it had an 'r' in it... not 'boose'). But I shouldn't feel too sorry for myself, because this guy in Brazil, Mr. Reinhardt Adolfo Fuck, has me beat hands down. As far as I can tell, that really is his name. He must get endless jokes about it.

I know this is mostly about the names of people, but I think I have one from the local area. Inhabitants of Brisbane, Australia, ought to be able to confirm that, up until a couple of years ago there was a second-hand car dearership called "Mike Hunt's Wholesale Cars" that was in Acacia Ridge.

Worse, the dealership was diagonally across the road from "Beaver Packaging".

While, sadly, Mike Hunt has moved on, Beaver Pagkaging is still there, albeit without the same degree of visual entertainment.

There was a guy at my high school by the name of "Lucius Pusey" pronounced: "LOOSHUS POO-SAY" and the worker on the school loudspeaker had run off a list of student names [for an important school activity], yet she was unsure of how to pronounce Lucius's name, so she ended up sounding like "lus-cious p-*-s-s-y." And everybody in the whole school was cracking up laughing so hard hearing it. I'll never forget that one.
