I was sent an e-mail reading I had won $550,000.00
Euro/Us $.I had to send them my name, address, and country I live in.They also said that they had compiled a sum of 300,000 e-mail address's and then it was down to 15,000 then out of that there were 5 grand prize winners mine included that had won 550,000 dollars.I also had to send them 450.00 US$ for a processing fee.Yeah right, like I would do that.I wrote this guy,Steve Morrison and told him that I would come to Amsterdam to personally deliver the processing fee and he wrote me right back and said that I could not come to this address without an appointment.LMAO!!!Have any of you all come across this guy?I have read 4 differant names so far.Mr. Abbey Martins,Steve Morrison,Mrs.Van Der Veen, and Mrs.Betty Van Hammer.I really think this is a scam, what do you all think? You can write me personally at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

i had been scammed too but only once(the email ID was: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), and the courier company mailing ID was (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) which i learnt a good lesson from. that was microsoft promotion which announced me to be a winner of 500.000 GBT POUNDS AND A 2008 BRAND ALL NEW TOYOTA CAMRY CAR!! i went on and sent the amount i had been asked 300 pounds sterling, but to my surprise they sent me an emediate stop notification teling me that since i am not a british citizen i am not allowed to receive the said won prize and once again they asked me to make payment of 500 pounds sterling to get the prize!!! i shunned that and several weeks after that i received an email from said FBI supporting and approving that the said winning was true and that i should go on and claim my winning, and, you know what happened after that? they sent me an email telling me that the car and the money are in NIGERIA , WEST AFRICA AND asking me to pay just US$150 this time, i told them i had the money and asked for the winnings to be sent to me and i would pay the US4150 upon delivery, ut since then i received no more mail from them since then i started to notify everybody i know and even my online friends worldwide and we exchanged such topics so nobody can be subjected to such rediculous fraud anymore. i don't think it is ratioal for somebody to be bitten by the same scorpion more than one time in one's life!!! |

Hi every one,
I am so glad to find this site which is dedicated to help people from falling into this sick and old scam game. After I received this email below I realized that the famous (Mr. Fred Martin) may be become too famous to go by his name so he decided to use this new name (Derek Max) but notice that Mrs. Dianne Thompson still there.
So, I replied to him by saying (Yeah!! English twat stop being a thief).
Also watch that he is sifting his territory from Europe, USA, and Australia to new territories where now body heard of him like the Middle East.
Stay sharp friends, let put this scum out of business 😉

I received at least 10 of these scams in my email inbox every week.
Many varieties of the scam but all badly worded. You can spot them a mile off.
Basically if you don't know sender or it sounds to good to be true... then it wont be true.
Don't ever give out personal information.
Emails address are fine the worst that happens is you get spammed with more useless emails.
Believe most of thees scams originate from same source, they may have different email addresses, but after all if only takes a minute to create a new email address online, Nodoubt thats why its hard to catch them. Someone once mentioned they may originally came from Nigeria, which could be true as the english is often very bad, and some of these scams are very funny to read, and written to with very strong stereo types.
i.e
Sir George London of the english office is writing to you on behalf of his Japanese associate Mr Hoki Kawagsaki to tell you of a posssible business opportunity.
ha ha ha.
Rev Terrence Green working along side the US First Batallion in Iraq has news from Captain Jimmy McConner. He and his team have found iraq gold bullion worth $3,000,000.00 US dollars.
All they need is some one to trnsfer the money....
ha ha ha.
There are hundreds more, including these lotto style ones. One week I won the lotto five different times, spread over 4 countries national lottos. Oh lucky days!!!
Can't believe anyone would really fool for them, but guess there are less wise, more trusting souls out there, like somones Granny.
Ideally the senders of these emails should burn horribly in hell, but doesn't look like its gonna happen anytime soon, so for now Junk box / delete them will have to do! |
