I was sent an e-mail reading I had won $550,000.00
Euro/Us $.I had to send them my name, address, and country I live in.They also said that they had compiled a sum of 300,000 e-mail address's and then it was down to 15,000 then out of that there were 5 grand prize winners mine included that had won 550,000 dollars.I also had to send them 450.00 US$ for a processing fee.Yeah right, like I would do that.I wrote this guy,Steve Morrison and told him that I would come to Amsterdam to personally deliver the processing fee and he wrote me right back and said that I could not come to this address without an appointment.LMAO!!!Have any of you all come across this guy?I have read 4 differant names so far.Mr. Abbey Martins,Steve Morrison,Mrs.Van Der Veen, and Mrs.Betty Van Hammer.I really think this is a scam, what do you all think? You can write me personally at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

I too got the same winning email. So I got on the net to see what they are saying. Maybe I'll be as lucky as Max. HMMMMM???? |

If it were true, they would not ask for your account number, and filing fees and for this and for that.I found out that if you were to win on an internet lottry,a cashiers check would be how they would pay. This,is a very true statement.Check it out with the department of commerce,I did!!!!!! |

I got a similar email just yesterday, copied below. The subject said "FINAL NOTICE", even though I had not been contacted previously. Wow, little old me won a pile of Euros! (what's a Euro look like anyway?).
Hey Max, how's the property hunt going? Hope you're still not reading this board, since you are now wealthy and would not have time for this trivial website. Or perhaps you are still poverty-stricken, since this internet scam is surely not making you any richer! Max -- try to find an honest job!

People, don't fall for it. Often in the midst of these scams you'll get a fake deposit which will then turn out to be fradulent, so even if you see someone who has "gotten their money", check back with them 6 mos later, and most likely they've lost everything.

'And they all sayeth, "Is it I, master?" I hope not, Paul, I like reading your posts. Yes, Mr. Overstreet, there is a solution - purchase Spamkiller, or a similar program. You'll be amazed at the amount of garbage like these lottery scams that gets tossed out, not to mention the foreign porn sites that are everywhere. You get to pick what to retrieve, what to toss, and who are your friends, without anyone spying on your programs, files, etc. Good investment. |

I get frequent calls that say "Congradulations you've been uniquely selected for a free vacation," but they never seem to know my name. Not so much a scam as sleazy marketing, though. Kinda like how the Union Tribune wants to give me free newspapers, and then charge 2.50 for the sunday paper. |

Ooops, first link was the incorrect one, it is:
http://www.nymo.us/0/0023.html Note that the company address is different on some of the scam letters supposedly originating from the same company. Probably either non-existant or are maildrops.
If they've already scammed you, you can go to http://www.fraudaid.com/, they can point you in some of the right directions.
And, if you get an email from someone helping you reclaim any money lost, don't buy into it. That is often a followup to any scam. Even if they say they will take no money, it will usually come into play quickly. |

Good letter. One thing I would advise, though, is to not use that as a reply letter, and get involved in further communications with any of them. The reason being: from the website, they can see your name and quite likely, your location.
One thing I've learned from the work I do against these scammers is that they have amazing contacts, all over the world. You've got to be safe with these guys, a lot of them are also doing 419 and other scams.
Quite a few people, like <a href="http://www.news24.com/News24/South_Africa/News/0,,2-7-1442_1641875,00.html">George Makronalli,</a> have been killed by people involved in 419 and lottery scams, so it's best to be way overcautious. |

Hey peeps, looks like these guyz are trying to fool the whole wide world. Look at me... a student at university in Uganda....they said i had won 250.500.000$ and one "claims officer" Daniel Rockson (+31 649 224 396) sent me a claims form to fill and requested for an attachement of passport. I foolishly fell for their shit. I was actually sending him the attachements when i decided to search and see whether these goons really exist. Well here i am.
I think these guys should be arrested and charged with fraud. If caught they should compensate us for time and money lost...in fact im wasting more time yet i have my final exam tommorow.
Thats all for now....but people from Amsterdam, get these guys and SUE THE BASTARDS! |

Hi, I'm so glad I got to this site just in time. I thought it was a scam from the start but wanted to make sure and asked a lot of people even my bankers, but they didn't know. I was afraid that if they wanted copies of my passport or driver's license that they'd want to do something with my identity on top of supposedly stealing money from me.
By reading all your responses I can now see this truly is a scam. I'm sorry for those of you who lost a lot of money and time and fits due to this, but I truly appreciate you posting this here so others wouldn't fall in the trap, just like me.
My husband and me want to have a baby. Imagine if we fell into this deceipt! What could we have left for our future child?!
Anyways, I got to emails this week.

Something must be done about Amsterdam. It's one of the most corrupt cities in the world. Coming from there I had my doubts immediately. Even their laws are nonsense, like stabbing someone in the back with a knife is not illegal there. It's what happened to a latin american tennis player. She got stabbed while playing and the stabber didn't even go to jail. She'll never step that country again. All types of drugs are legal there, not to mention their promiscuity and sex slaves including children. Absolutely disgusting.
I believe in God and believe God will bring all things to justice in his time. |

The first one is from Quad Cruise Lottery and the second from Law and Associates.
I'd say a group of associates in scam and international money robbery. |
