This above statement by the park was made..... but It's part of an advertising scheme. I know the person playing Mr. Six.... Personally. He was just in my office. I can't divulge his name. Notice the article says he is very old " or has great makeup". They weren't for sure.
I can confirm that it's not a woman..but a NDA will not let me divulge anymore. |

Which, unfortunately, doesn't distinguish you from the dozen or so other people who claim to know him personally, so until an official statement is made we still don't know anything. |

Mr. Six is a guy in his twenties. I've seen a before and after picture with make up. The guy is young. So just to clarify. 😊 I'm also obsessed with Six Flags over here @ Six Flags MM.

Okay, let's get some things straight. "Mr. Six" is a character who is an OLD dancing man. The ACTOR playing "Mr. Six" could very well be a 15 yr old gypsy with webbed toes. So, EVERYone (who has seen the commercial) knows who "Mr. Six" is.
What people are trying to figure out is who the ACTOR is. Okay? Okay. |

I wasn't online yesterday, but I just wanted to wish this thread a happy birthday! It was one year ago that I started the Mr. Six thread, never dreaming it would last so long!
I haven't seen Mr. Six at all unfortunately this year. I hope they start putting out more ads soon. |

Mr. Six IS the KKK Clan Member that was just sentenced to 60 years in prison. He's 80 years old. He shot the commericals for Six Flags back in September of 2004. In March, Mr. Killen broke both of his legs in a tree accident.
Six Flags, because of their stance to not release the real name or identity of Mr. Six, is continuing to use his persona "as the spirit of Six Flags" and not as a person.
It is in no doubt to me that new commericals will most likely be made with someone else costumed up to look like Mr. Killen.
But the original Mr. Six, is/was most definitely an 80 year old guy named Edgar Ray Killen.

I didn't put 2&2 together until a friend of mine contributed some pics and asked me to write up a webpage about this. With little investigation I see there are internet "pockets" about this Mr. Six and his look-a-like. This blog is ranking pretty high on google so perhaps this myth may take off.

Anywho, I only agreed with this as a joke. I don't ACTUALLY think this is REAL.

Take a close look at Mr. Six and you'll realize that he's Edgar Ray Killen, former KKK honcho recently convicted of the 1964 murders of three civil rights workers in Mississippi. |

TygrS~ First of all, thanks for not repeating someone else's post.
Secondly, I'm not so sure about the blog. There's a lot of convoluted thinking, and leaps of logic.
"Nor will he ever be available to meet with you in Los Angeles." The words rang in my head like a fishing boat's ringing bell in a sheet of fog atop the ocean. The simple-minded communications liaison had let a small detail slip. Mr. Six was not based in Los Angeles.
Or, he would not ever meet with the guy, as his identity is a secret and Six Flags want to keep it that way, obviously.
had probably chosen an individual for the part who would never ever attend a Six Flags park except for the filming of the commercial. This way, of course, there would never be a chance of the public spotting him ... (list of states etc) ...Mr. Six could not be from any of these states or countries.
Or, they told him that, in order to get and retain the job of Mr Six, he must not visit any Six Flags parks.
a piece describing how Arizona officials were going above and beyond the call of duty to confirm that there would never be a Six Flags park in Arizona.
Mr. Six was in Arizona.
Not necessarily - it's a pretty big leap of logic. It appears to be 'state officials' who say that there will not be one, rather than Six Flags.
There was one city, one location in all of Arizona that happened to specalize in a wide array of acting techniques that includes classes on dancing as well. It was none other than the Mesa Arts Center in Mesa, Arizona ... living in Mesa, Arizona.
Not necessarily. It's already based on pretty shaky logic.
I immediately sent an e-mail to Mr. Hooker, asking him to fess up that he was Six Flags' Mr. Six. No response. In fact, after four e-mails (which never got bounced back), I still received no response.
If someone I didn't know kept emailing me asking if I were on TV, I wouldn't have answered either. And would the guy have taken 'No, I'm not.' for an answer? Not proof.
And then I got a call from Six Flags' Debbie Nauser who simply left an answering machine message to tell me that she'd reconsidered my request and that if I wanted to submit questions to her via e-mail, she'd be "happy to get the answers from Mr. Six."
Y-e-e-es.
It's a good read, but there's too many flaws in the reasoning for me. |

I can't believe I posted such a long thing about that when:
1) I'm on a different continent.
2) I've never been to Six Flags, or seen the adverts (with the exception of the one Chary posted).
and
3) I don't really care.
Sorry about that. |

I have been reading these posts and think it is funny that every Tom, Dick, an Harry think they know who Mr Six is. It is not Urkel. It is not Dana Carvey. It is not anyone mentioned in any of the posts. All that Anyone needs to know about him is He is male, He is wearing prosthetics, He is Dancing in most of the shots. He has been CGI'd in many shots. and most of all Who cares who he is? All the Ceo's for Six Flags can not tell you who he is because they don't know. |

It's not like this is something that anyone should be caring about anyway, and with all the idiots telling us they know who he really is we'll never find out until there is an official Six Flags statement.
So let's all go post meaningless responses to another thread, shall we? :cheese: |

wwwpaulwagner.com I think Mr. Six is Paul Wagner, from Boston's WLVI kids club (1990's). He also starred in a cider jack commercial (the one that says that it's no wonder why women dance together) and Papa Gino's commercials from the mid 90's. So go to http://www.paulwagner.com and fish around. (There's nothing about Mr. Six BTW). |

I have a suggestion that REALLY COULD be correct.. but I still would give it somewhat slim odds..
I went through High School Acting Classes with a one Tom Ray who was a small fellow with a tremendous energy. I saw him years later in a 6 flags stage presentation at Eureka, Mo.
He was fond of making the kind of moves that Mr. Six does... but would now be 55 years old. For Tom's sake, I'm hoping HE is Mr. Six.. and fooling everybody by using elderly prosthetics to cover up a few real wrinkels...
Anyway, hope it's you TOM!!!!

Of all the blogs running on good old Mr. Six.I enjoy yours the most. However I would like to point out that although He probably wears some makeup,I don't believe he looks that old,the actions, and faces and routine makes the character,he probably doesn't talk as the written word is probably not his best mode of communication. Isn't it enough that he makes people relax and want some fun. Everybody would probably be disapointed if they knew his true identity. Sincerely Pat,NYC |

All right.. i met a girl on a vacation who was in the six flags commercial in texas (i won't give her name for her safety) but she said that it IS an old man, but they put make up on him to make him look older, and she said that he is REALLY nice.. im sure noone will believe me.. but this really is true.. also i think it is crazy that people are making such a big deal about a commercial, and i think it's really funny. (the commercial) Also, what bad publicity could come from it being a woman?? |

After comparing Mr6 to "Thriller", looking at the clothing, and considering the age of the majority of the attendees at 6 flags, we have determined that it is probably Michael Jackson with a mushroom in his pocket.

My first thought when I saw the commercial was that it could be a person with that rare disease that makes people age prematurely (Progeria - like in the Robin Wiliams movie "Jack"). I know it's very unlikely - especially considering that it's a nasty disease that results in death at about age 12 or 13. |

Robin Williams didn't have progeria in the movie Jack.
Someone with progeria would not be able to dance that way - especially b/c their bodies aren't actually growing as fast as they are aging. A 4 yr old with progeria, is still about the size of another 4 yr old.

I don't know who Mr. Six is but I believe it is the same person that plays the leprechaun in the "twister"? dirnk commercial. The one where one kid says he fornd five bucks, and the other says look what I found, the he drops a Leprechaun on the table that starts to dance. |

I know who he is. I know his name, but don't know him personally. He works with a close friend of mine, and I have seen videos and stills of him in and out of costume at work. There is alot more I could say, but its not my place becuase if he or Six Flags wanted anybody to know his real life identity we wouldn't have this forum. I will say I know he is FUNNY because I've seen videos of him ad libbing and doing his thing in the office for halloween and such occasions.
Its not Erkle, although Erkle is a good hoopster.
He's not female, His G friend does his make up
His name is not Bryan, Ryan, Brian or Widmer or Martin, Although.......... never mind, I've said enough.
He's a guy with a day job who has his own reasons for not being public, so I'm going to respect that. |

I was Mr. Six for Halloween Last year. Our Halloween Party theme was "River View Rest Home and Early Bird Dinner". There are photos on my Halloween Museum (2004 Party) located at http://www.wordcraft.net. I bought a bald head "wig" and then my daughter made up the line from real skin to bald skin. I did the dance, found some large black glasses and wore my tuxedo. A good time was had by all. |
