Here are two images going around that feature skeletally skinny women. The image of the woman on the beach is captioned
"I think I've changed my mind about 'fat chicks'" and the image of the woman walking is captioned
"Implants last forever." They could be real, but given how easy it is to fake images like this (see
Too Skinny), I suspect they're photoshopped.
Comments
I have been that skinny, and I didn't get out of bed until they put me on a feeding tube for a week.
The jogger: could be real. I suspect she's not nearly as old as she looks, as anorexia tends to do that to your face.
btw, I would have to think this is real, since I've known a girl once that used to throw up food, and was sooo worried about her weight, that she almost died... well she wasn't too far off from looking just like that... lol
Check out some of the stories about her on the ET website

its really pathetic.
can someone feed a steak to these women?
i've seen women who look like this, and many similar pictures on websites that deal with eating disorders.
i don't feel it is something to make fun of.
anorexia has the highest death rate of any mental disorder. it really messes up the chemicals in your head and distorts your thinking, as you aren't getting nutrition to feed your cells. an endless spiral downward that often ends in death.
This is what happens when many obsess(SP?) over their bodies too, TOO much.
WHY HAVEN"T YOU PEOPLE GIVEN THEM A GODDAMN STEAK?
Please don't classify all white people as "always doing something crazy." because its not true, not all white people are crazy
The photo of the jogger is REAL! I see her all the time in Palm Springs, she walks all over the city looking exactly like that - SUPER SKINNY!
No photoshop at all.
Guaranteed!
as a matter of fact;i knew a woman who was bulimic.
and she looked even worse.
in the beginning she was normal sized.
maybe even a little on the chubby side.
in the end she was only skin and bones.
she has been admitted to a special clinic for eating disorders.
she even has been admitted to a hospital several times for being to severely underwheight (1,7 metre's and 38 kilo's)
i haven't seen her for a while, but the last time i saw here, the term 'living skeleton' would certainly be fitting.
