I've been working on the Jim Morrison case for almost 2 years and can tell you that Jim is still definitely alive. He is a horse rancher in Oregon. You don't have to call him a cowboy, he just loves raising horses. "7 horses seem to be on the mark" and footage of him in his last days suggest his fascination with horses, one of God's most prestigious creatures.
I don't think the big story is that Jim faked his death. Rather, I think it is that Manzarek, Densmore and Krieger are faking that the DOORS are still alive.

This is real simple to solve. There is DNA on file and living members of the Morrison family. All this guy has to do is take a DNA test and it will prove it one way or another. I'd chip in $5 via pay pal to do it. It would be the ultimate rock and roll legend if it were true! Oh, and I have seen this guy in person. He came into a radio station I was working at in Klamath Falls, Oregon, not too far from where Morrison is supposedly living. He does kind of look like a well aged version of Morrison but it I am very skeptical. Give me some proof!
