I was wondering if anyone has tried this "game".
It's called petals around the rose, and it's quite interesting.
Supposedly, the longer it takes you to figure it out, the smarter you are.
I figured out the solution rather quickly, i guess i'm just not smart.
give it a whirl

For the record: -
I made an intuitive guess, got 6 or 7 correct answers in a row, decided the programmers weren't smart enough to have thought of anything less obvious, and quit.
That doesn't make me a genius. It makes me a misanthropist. |

David B.--The reason that it continues to work is that the same theory is in the mind of the person demonstrating the trick! 1,1,1,1,1 will render the answer zero, because the same rule applies. Sheesh.
No, we can't see every instance, but reason doesn't require that. |

By the way, does anyone else have the problem where your browser will go back when you hit backspace, even though you're typing in the box? Pisses me off. |

I tried this a few months ago, gave up, tried again today, and got it. Does this mean I'm the next Einstein? I'm only 13, for God |

I've just tried this puzzle again.
The answer is "threes are worth 2, fives are worth 4, and when all the dice show the same the number of petals round the rose equals the value of the face of an individual die".
I've tested it 30 times so far and been right every time. Looking good guys! |

Ok.
I roll the die.
1,1,1,1,1 comes up.
You say the answer is zero.
I say, "yes!"

Ok, I roll the die,
[1][1][1][1][1] comes up.
You say the answer is zero.
