I was very shocked to find this comment today:
http://hoaxes.org/weblog/comments/1277/
Does anyone actually monitor the comments? Not only was that inappropraite as the "Emperor's" wife did truely die...but the Laci Pterson comment was horrific.
I'm all for jokes, but there was nothing funny about the sick person that posted that.
Maybe a requirement for posting should be a confirmed e-mail address and the messages should be moderated.

Yeah, I deleted that remark and IP banned the person who posted it. Thanks for pointing it out.
They posted it at almost 10 pm on a friday night, so I didn't see it until this morning. At some point in the next few months I'm hoping to update this message board and simultaneously give a few posters wider privileges, such as being able to delete comments, etc. But that takes time to set up, and right now I'm under a bit of a time crunch. Got a book due in three months. |

Great, thanks Alex. It's difficult to imagine anyone being that crude and posting such a thing. |

BTW Alex, have any of us said "thanks" for all the hard work you do here, if not...Thanks!
And I still say the logo you took from your book and put on the main page looks wonderful. |
