Who is Mr. Six?
image This question comes from the hoax forum, where it's sparked quite a debate: what's the deal with that guy in the Six Flags ads? You know the one. The 'old dude' who looks like he's about 90-years-old but dances around maniacally like a 19-year-old. Is he really an old man? Or is he a young professional dancer dressed up as an old man? If you're not familiar with 'Mr. Six', then you can check out the commercials starring him at Six Flags' website. Apparently Six Flags is being swamped by requests to reveal the true identity of Mr. Six, but so far they're staying mum, evidently hoping to milk the interest in him for all it's worth. So here's a poll so that the public can vote on who they think Mr. Six really is:

Don't ruin the imaginations of the commercial viewers. I wanted to believe it was a real old man!!! No, honestly, looking at his hands and considering his fine dance moves I think it is a young man in an old man constume.

He's probably a young guy disguised as an old man, but more importantly, I want to know where I can get some glasses like his. He sports the fly-est pair of specks ever made.

Hey! I thought that was Dana Carvey!!! Doesn't it look like him (ever seen Master of Disguise?)??

Hey! I'm the one who started the topic. I'm so happy that it was such a sucess and that I got my very own spot in the museum of hoaxes! I feel so special now.

I usually just call him That Crazy Guy. Even if he turned out to be a bunch of trained gerbils in a rubber old man suit I wouldn't care much.

It shows a picture of him on the Six Flags website. His hands don't look wrinkly like most old men's hands do. If you've been with Museum of Hoaxes a while, you remember Bimpco. He wears the same type of glasses Bob Bimpco has. Check it out. http://www.bimpco.com

We get that commercial at least 40 times a day. The head and neck doesn't quite match up, so it's most likely a younger person dancing, with the old man's head photoshopped in.

Whomever the actor is, I think they've speeded up the film on the shots where it's just him.

Look closely and you can see the line of his fake rubber bald-wig.

i still want those glasses!

you wold thinkthat after all of the advances made in the movie industry that people wouldn't even spend there time thinking about whether it is an old man or a yong man! clearly it is a young man in prosthetic make up... and for all those who believe it is an old man... come to my house and show me a man that is 90 years old and can dance better than a 30 year old... then i will believe you...

I wish they would pull that commercial. It is almost as annoying as the ones for those fake medical training ads or the fake university ads. Not to mention the music is like nails on a chalk board. Dont waste time thinking of who it is, not even worth the thought.

how can you deny this guy? heretics!! he's an old man who takes his vitamins. sucks to photoshop and rubber masks. he's an old dude!!!!!!!!

it is a woman. i met mr. six in costume and they don't allow her to talk because it is a woman folks.

I think it's an older guy in good shape. It also looks like the parts of the commercial where he's dancing is ran faster also, which gives it that spastic look.

Lemme change that vote. After looking at a bigger picture, the size of the head and neck just don't seem to match the body...

Got to be a young guy in the commercial, the hands look too thick to be feamle.

Early on I thought it was Martin Short, because he seems to enjoy dressing up in unrecognizable prosthetic makeup and has been known to bust a move from time to time, but I have since found out that Martin is no kid himself ( well over 50 ) so I'm guessing its some young dancer, all done up to look older than God

Does no one else see Mr. Six's similarity to Jackass's Johnny Knoxville?

It's a young guy in a Bucky Fuller outfit. He's so synergetic!

your all wrong, a friend works for the agency that discovered/produced the fictional character, I have seen the casting tapes, winston smith produced the mask for a cost of $60,000. He is an actor from outside the us. and was a nobody before the campaign launched.

I think this guy is actually Micheal Jackson, so he can get close to kids, but I overheard some ad execs on a plane I think they said he is young man and has a strange disease that makes him look old and the reason he never talks is cause his voice sounds like a 10 year old. Or maybe he is actually played by ex members of menudo.

what plane were you on? what day? verify your sources!

"I'LL NEVER TELL" Besides isn't all this media speculation just a bunch of pr bullshit to ingrain some "new cultural icon" into our minds, like the "ZOOM" kid or "Morris" cat? who the hell really cares about a dancing old man when kids are dying for oil? More riddlin please I can't concentrate.

Your all missing it. The actor which plays the old man is actually IN the first commercial in this campaign. he's the school teacher who looks out the window at the 6 flags buss. He is surrounded by school kids. His expression is the same as the old mans. Check it out, I'm right.
