Who is Mr. Six?
This question comes from the hoax forum, where it's sparked quite a debate: what's the deal with that guy in the Six Flags ads? You know the one. The 'old dude' who looks like he's about 90-years-old but dances around maniacally like a 19-year-old. Is he really an old man? Or is he a young professional dancer dressed up as an old man? If you're not familiar with 'Mr. Six', then you can check out the commercials starring him at Six Flags' website. Apparently Six Flags is being swamped by requests to reveal the true identity of Mr. Six, but so far they're staying mum, evidently hoping to milk the interest in him for all it's worth. So here's a poll so that the public can vote on who they think Mr. Six really is:

Well, there are a few things that CommonSense should tell you:
1. It's not Jaleel White, any IDIOT would know better, because the hands have no makeup on them and guess what? DUH!!!
2. It's obvious it's not an old man, see 1. above.
Now, I did notice in one of the pictures Mr Six is holding his/her hands in a martial arts punching style, so maybe it's Chuck Norris? LOL!!!! NOT!!!
Seriously, it's Ms. Six not Mr. Six all the clues are there if you look hard enough, body size, size of hands, young looking hands with no hair B.T.W. and never, NEVER even the slightest hint of any man in the critch area. how can people be so ignorant.
Also, rest assured that who ever it is will be getting paid well and thus they will NEVER admit it short of Six Flags letting the world know who they are first and that's NEVER going to happen. It's called a NDA. 😉

I recently got some good info on "Mr. Six". I promise you this is the real story. A 25 year old guy plays the character on TV. I recently spent time with a PR/marketing person from the theme park whom I was doing business with and I just asked. I didn't get a name, however it's nobody known whatsoever.
The story gets better. The character "Mr. Six" is based on a real person. He lives in or around St. Louis, MO and had been going to Six Flags regularly for years with his children and grandchildren. In real life he's huge...6'7'' or so. My girlfriend works at a medical supply/pharmacy store. He is a regular customer there. She has spoken with him. He showed her his season pass...which is is compensation. He gets a season pass every year. All they did was use his image to base the dancing character on. He was happy to let them do it.

Hey, ive read all your comments but the truth is that I know the person's identity... it actually is an elderly person. It turns out that this weekend I went to an event at lincoln center that involved a live band playing salsa music. While I was there with my mother we noticed an older person and we immediately came to the conclusion that he looked exactly like the guy from the six flags commercial. We were watching him and saw him dancing like a 20 year old. This old guy was litterally dancing salsa music like a true professional despite his age and elderly appearance, we couldn't believe our eyes. At this point we were just assuming that it was him, and then we noticed that everytime he asked a girl to dance with him, he would give the girl a business card when the song was over. At the end of the 3hour event we were talking to an event worker and laughing about the old guy that we saw that looked exactly like the 6flags commercial guy, sure enough the man told us that he had been working with these events for many years and that he is the guy from the commercial and he is a regular at these events every year because his life is professional dancing.

Today at school I heard that he was an old lady with cancer. That could be why we don't see her anymore.

hey, i just got back from 6 flags today-they opened the whole park for students, so we had our i took there...anyway when i first saw him i took a group picture w/ him and his pals...me-being a curiouse persion touched the top of his head--->which wasn't a very smooth move, once i touched it(it felt like a compinational of skin and rubber)he smacked my hand and made a gester and pointed at me (basically saying to me "don't do that" but without speaking)me thinking he was just joking around laughed at him...anywayz after that the lady who walks with him shouted to me (as i was walking away)"hey you don't touch his face, your not allowed"-about two hous later i saw him again, i shouted out "mr six-sorry and he just gave me a dirty look, like a grumpy old man would--->idk, i think i'm forgiven because when it came time for the dance party i joined in...and he noticed too- WHAT DO YOU THINK?

A former Broadway actor and dancer by the name of GC Rivera was interviewed on a blog called A Little Touch of History and he not only performed Mr. Six in the original national commercials in 2004-2005 but he also created the character...originally called Mr. Ziggs.

I think it is Martin Short playing the old man, the way he moves and listen to his voice, just look at him real hard and you will see Martin.

The actor that played the dancing old man in the Six Flags commercial (Mr Six) Is Danny Teeson. Dancer and choreographer, amongst other things. Native to London, now resides in Los Angeles. wasn't able to find his exact age, but if I have my math correct he's approximately 32-35 years of age.
