Real or Fake? - Running Kilts

image They're the latest in Scottish sports technology: running kilts. The instant solution to chafing shorts. They sound kind of like a joke, but actually they're real. And once you get over feeling silly when you first put them on, they're reportedly very comfortable. They actually sound very practical, but still, I would hesitate to wear them to the gym, or to wear them on a windy day.

Not surprised by this story, for some reason. Seems the kilt is making a big splash recently.

As for the Utilikilt, I personally know someone who has one, and the pockets on that thing can hold a full six-pack. Unfortunately, being a fat man, it's prohibitively expensive for me to order one, or I'd have several Utilikilts.

A friend of mine claims that these are popular among Ultimate Frisbee players.

A guy wore a Utilikilt at a statewide convention I attended in April.

He wasn't the handsomest guy in the world, but the kilt looked pretty good on him, and all those pockets did seem practical.
