At least two or three faces seen in trees seem to get reported a month, and I faithfully note them here. Here are the latest:
Lodi, California: Emily West was doing some meditating over the weekend in her sister's backyard in central Lodi when something caught her eye. "I looked up and saw the face of Christ in the fence and I said, "Whoa," West said. She called her sister Ana over to ask what she saw. She too agreed, it was the Son of God.
Cranky Media Guy forwarded me this story with the comment, "If this is the face of Jesus, then the Son of God is wearing one of those laser-equipped face masks like the Cylons on the original Battlestar Galactica." Yes, well that sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Jesus might be a big Battlestar Galactica fan.
And here's a
a second face in a tree seen in Portland, Maine, though there are no details about exactly where it was seen, or by whom.
The thing about this image is that I can see two faces. There's the one on the left, outlined in blue lines below. But there's also the face outlined in green lines (on the right), which is actually the one I saw first.

And as for that second sighting? I like your ghoulish face you saw first! I spit my beer when I read that one!!!
But... neither one of them had an elephant's trunk for a nose curled over their head, and I definitely see one here!
To continue:
The second picture, Yep, I'd say it looks like a druid too. Or maybe, it's the tree Merlin is trapped in? 😉
At least this one has a clue to the figure's identity; look in the lower right hand corner, by the "beard". Is that the initials JLA or ULA?
Obviously, the first places to check would be Justice League of America, or Underwriters Laboratory!
Maybe on top of being a carpenter, He was a ironworker on the side.
Yet again, I am reminded that I really should be looking for Jesus more closely so I can make a fortune off Ebay.
"The people of Nazareth saw the job He had done and rejoiced, all save Judas who owned a competing welding concern and was mightily jealous."
But the second one looks really good. Now that's what you call a face in a tree.

That said, I never have understood the significance of these things, and I'm a believer. Oh, well -- whatever makes them happy, I guess.
I'll take a picture if anyone gives a damn.
