Loo With A View

image A photo is doing the email circuit, showing a bathroom that men who don't enjoy being watched as they 'go about their business' might not want to use. Yes, it is a real bathroom. It's located on the second floor of the Sofitel Hotel in Queenstown, New Zealand. Here's from a press release about the bathroom:

Queenstown photographer Sheena Haywood shot the images of models from local agency Ican -- after Auckland model agencies turned down the job when they heard where the images were going to be placed. “We had a lot of fun with the shoot, made all the better for the fact that there weren't any men there when we did it,” said Sheena.

The general manager of the hotel commented that "he was now under pressure from those of the female persuasion to decorate the neighbouring women's toilets with something equally eye-catching."

They should have had one of a woman looking through a magnifying glass. It'd be interesting to see if any man would use it!

Yes, she has got a magnifying glass in her hand. I've used this toilet myself.

A sense of humor is definatley required! Some people are more "sensitive" than others. Equality, I would still like to see the womans rooom version......

Yea little old New Zealand's been mentioned on this site. Those pictures certainly beat out Ad Shells which seem to be appearing in every other public bathroom in NZ! Yes for now we can read all about Hair Product while doing a number one...

i find it hard to imagine what jokes you could put acrossabout womens sexual equipment in such posters.... also all these pictures seem to be put above urinals, something womens toilets dont have.... so what do we have them posted over the toilets?

im a guy and i think its funny, hell i live near auckland i may have to go look at it one day

joeodd, I was thinking of a guy standing with his hands crabbed at breast level for one.

And I was also referring to the case of a bloke I know who responded to a remark at work about his penis size from a female coworker: He commented that her feet must never get wet in the rain, and next thing he knew, sexual harrassment charge.

He now is the only bichemist I know who can only get jobs picking fruit, as no-one dares hire him with that blot on his record.

Well, the sad truth is that, in general, women are more insecure about their appearances than men. I mean, the amount of time and money that goes into women making themselves look good compared to the 2 minutes I take every morning to brush my teeth and (sometimes) comb my hair should illustrate that.

But I'm not complaining. I like the pretty laaadies.

I'm not so sure it's that we feel insecure as want to look good. Society places a great deal of emphasis on appearance. It all lays with in the sense of humor in the individual.

I'll give you that. Sterotypically, men care more about how women appear, while women care more about how successful the man is (ie. how much mo-nay he makes), resepectively. That's why you see fat-ass SOB's who make millions with super hot girls fighting for him... but rarely vice versa.

I love it!!! I busted into the mens to see this, as I worked in the town when they opened! Its fabulous and it would be great if they could think of something this wicked for the ladies loos!!!
