I received an email with these pictures of extreme cars attached. Are they real? I'm not sure, though they look like something you'd find in a Worth1000 photoshop contest. I have the feeling that I've seen the pictures before, but I'm not sure where or when. I'm sure someone will know the story behind them.

The rest are real.
The turtle car is one of a series of animal-themed cars produced by a local Massachusetts company that uses them for advertising. Can't recall the name of the company just now, but one of the designers lives up the street from me, and I've seen the turtle car drive a couple of times.

As for the turtle car...

Have you all noticed how much more jaded everyone is getting as time goes by? At least I'm calling fake much more quickly than I would have before, sometimes with cause, sometimes not.
And winona? In or on?
😜
If I had to be way too honest, I'd have to say in, but almost "on". I went on a date with the Weinermobile guy when he was in town. Ahhh, I miss my single days. 😉

I found this site with seriously customised trucks. The site is in Japanese, and the pictures are a little dark, but they're very cool anyway.
There's a whole subculture of people who build these cars and take them around to different parades and exhibitions. The "art cars" range from truly inspired creations like the shoe car to cars that somebody has just glued a bunch of junk to the outside of and declared them art.
