I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not the website of the
American Fascist Movement is meant to be a joke. If it is real, then it presents an incredibly watered-down, warm-and-fuzzy version of fascism. But since the site mainly consists of old (untranslated) speeches by Franco, as well as samples of really bad marching band music from the '30s, I'm suspecting that it's all some kind of joke. The site is registered to 'Danny Duce', which must be a play on 'Il Duce'. If it is real, then I guess we can be thankful that it's probably not going to inspire many people to convert to fascism.

To catch up with the REAl American fascist movement, go to:

http://www.protestwarrior.com/videos/answer_infiltrated.php for what really goes on behind the doors of some of these groups, the type of people who are fighting against "a ... process initiated by the ultra right-wing foreign policy team in the White House and the Pentagon who seek to overthrow the Cuban government"
*yawn*
The ripping down signs and so forth happens mostly in their imagination.
If they have pictures of that happening on their website (I'm not curious enough to look), they probably staged it themselves.
By the way, despite what they say, their primary target is not leftists, it's antiwar activists.
