David Emery has posted a
'real or fake' image quiz on his about.com urban legends site. The quiz includes many old favorites, but I still managed to get one wrong (the one about human remains inside a crocodile). I'm glad to see that he identified the picture of the spider in the Iraqi desert as real. This
other hoax photo test that I linked to earlier claimed it was fake.

I thought this title was the best - Image: Air Force Jets in Formation Over Taj Mahal.
Was there bombing there I was not aware of? http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/bl_image_quiz.htm?lastQuestion=17&answers=1&submit=Next+Image+>>&ccount=17
Heh.
and pic of the spider in the iraqi desert isn't real. atleast i wouldn't classify it as real, because they do not get that big nor do they prey on mammals like the email suggested.
100%
Thats's what spending a lot of time on here and snopes will do to you.
Ani, since you are judging whether the *photo* is real, rather than the embellishments to the story that appear in the email, the picture is entirely real.
The spiders are held up to the camera, which makes them appear larger than they are, but it's a real photo.
