Okay, so its pretty obvious that this is a hoax, but it has been spread around quite a bit according to the <a href="http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050708/ap_on_fe_st/rattlesnake_rumor;_ylt=AkdIvlTBjQi71b3Fh0LVyTUsQE4F" title="article">article</a>.
I generally see most of this sort of pic in my email from well meaning friends who actually believe its real, but this one was new on me.

Well, eight feet is certainly possible (welcome to Texas) but the weight is grossly exagerated, which is apparent in the photo. First off, the snake obviously hasn't eaten a hogling recently, and second there is no way that guy is holding a 50-100+lb snake in that manner. His arm isn't strong enough. |
