Is this urban legend? If it's true, it must have been a person who did not know there is no room in the wheel well once they were retracted. They would also have to not know about the -40 deg temperature and the danger of asphyxiation at cruising altitude. |

I'm sure I heard numerous UL horror stories of people hiding in airplane wheel-wells and being frozen, crushed, asphyxiated, etc.
Perhaps this is a case of a UL not being spread far enough; it really seems that someone has done this. Type 'stowaway' into google-news and there is a hell of a lot of 'reputable' journalism on this story.
If it's a hoax, it deserves to be in this site's top 100! :lol: |
