This guy is a nut!
Did you go to his 'website' where he charges for the evidence?
<sigh>
It was Las Vegas news that also 'broke' the story about Area 51 as well... |

You should view more of his videos before you decide how this guy is doing this. See

c5-15501242140.wmv
and others that are difficult to explain.

UFO Prophet Yahweh
Yeah, the News footage is rather impressive... until you see all his other videos. Always the same setup: he checks the sky in one direction beforehand (knows where the sighting will happen), talks about the wind (reason for concern)... his UFOs all look like balloons, all behave like balloons. This one's a no brainer.
To be sure his crowd sees them, his buddy (a mile away or so) sometimes launches a few. All that's left to do then is make a prayer and set up a website.
Timing glitches: sometimes the balloons show up before the summoning. Well, Yahweh knew he was *going* to summon him...
I can't believe I fell for the first video. It's a good thing he's dumb enough to post all his other videos online as well so you can clearly see what he's doing.
I truly hate liars. He's got to crash and burn. |

Worst part is...
they are trying to say that picture doesn't look like him...
It is pretty obvious that it is him to me. |

Okay, big balloon, makes sense. How come it shines?
wraped in aluminum maybe?
this guy is stupid he actually extpects us to believe him? someone should ask him to do it at night. He says theres gonna be loads of sightings this week, hes gonna need lots of balloons! |

I think perhaps the partner-with-ballons-in-hiding seems the most plausible to me at this point.

I do wonder, however, if this was a legitimate news story initially, why no media follow-up? This would seem to be the type of story that gets picked up to grab ratings, but I haven't really seen it anywhere else.
|

Oh poopface,
Your inability to use the forum properly might make us question your claim that we are all idiots. |

I'm thinking of starting a collection for the prophet.
Maybe I could raise enough money to buy him a tripod for the video camera... |

Don't bother. Soon he will be rich. Yahweh has applied for the $1,000,000 JREF Paranormal Challenge.

Oh, that should be good! Hey, Al, should we bet on which lame excuse Yahweh uses to back out of the Challenge (or uses after he TAKES it and fails)?
I'm going with "There were skeptics present and their bad vibrations spoiled the test" (or are the reason he doesn't take it at all). |

CMG,
Do you think the bookies there in Vegas will have a line on Prophet Yahweh? What kind of odds would there be on his passing? Would anyone here bet a dollar on 10 billion to 1? You would get exponentially better odds putting that dollar in a slot machine. |

I've watched all the different footage(s) and this is really weird.
Also he doesn't charge...at least he isn't as of June 28, 2005. This link is clearly marked on his site:
http://www.godlikeproductions.com/ufovideo/video archive/
By his own word he has until July 15 for something to hover over LA for 2 days or so. THAT I'll be watching for! |

Not to get religous, but this guy on his website (Some years back) claimed Jesus was a Homosexual and the bible shows it to be true. Basically he takes something as simple as a scripture that reads how Jesus loved his fellow man and or We are brides of Christ and it makes him a Homosexual. I think the guy is a member of a sector of Nation of Islam. I think its a hoax, but im waiting for the July 15 or 25 or whatever day he makes his finale! |

UPDATE! I guess his self-imposed original deadline passed without incident. Shocking!
"Beginning August 7, 2005, Prophet Yahweh, Seer of Yahweh, will start his "50 State UFO Summoning Tour 2005." During this time, UFOs will appear on Prophet's signal for radio or television news and talk shows to film and photograph."

His "UFO" has string resemblance to a kite wrapped in perhaps, a thermal blanket or even tinfoin. The shape of the object, which appears to have some kind of wingspan, and the way in which it moves in a gliding, dipping way throws me off quite a bit. The object is also not as far from the ground as it may seem.
...rather fishy business. |

only true way to test this guy is to put him inside a plane and get him to do his stuff then from say 30.000 feet up.
Should make no difference to him whatsoever. |
