I've seen this same ad on ebay before. Several months ago, I think. Somebody somwhere linked to it.
Maybe he went into the future, got another time machine, and brought it 'back' to sell. Maybe he's got a factory that builds cheap knock-off time machines in the future, and they're crappy, and nobody in the future will buy one, so he had to resort to time travel to sell the damned things, because they're the best time travel machine around at this particular point in time, so nobody at this point in time knows how crappy they really are, and that they can evaporate you in an instant if they malfunction (the cause of many unexplained disappearances in recent years).
Maybe I shouldn'ta smoked that...
