"Her ability is not x-ray vision, but she definitely has some kind of talent that we can't explain yet."
Right both times! Not x-ray vision - wow! But do you actually need a Prof to work that one out? A talent? Certainly - a talent to fool otherwise quite intelligent people; but that's all. |

I read that topic and thought...
"So this is Deja Vu?"
Then I thought...
"Just how long have I been up?"

Some more info on x-ray girl. This time from the Skeptical Inquirer:
<a href="http://www.csicop.org/specialarticles/demkina.html">The Girl with Normal Eyes</a>
<a href="http://www.csicop.org/specialarticles/natasha.html">Testing Natasha</a>
This is funny. They wanted to blindfold her to prevent her from gettting visual clues from the subjects about their medical conditions. Natasha claims to be able to see through people's clothes but said she could not do it through a blindfold! |

OK, does ANYONE still think this isn't mierda de toro (as the Spanish say)?
First, she can see through skulls; NOW she can diagnose from a photo.
Even if you thought that her "X-ray vision" was real, you HAVE to concede that she is now claiming a totally different ability. At what point do you say, "OK, this strains credibility"? |

How could she 'diagnose' something without a degree? Or at the least, a little education? |

Well, anyone can "diagnose" anything. That doesn't mean that their "diagnosis" is accurate. |

The latest experiments were carried out by Professor Yoshio Machi at Tokyo University, who specialises in studying apparent superpowers in human beings.
What is his field called? Hyperandrology?

I think Maegan meant, how did she learn the medical terms and such? Or did she just say "cancer," "cold," "cyst?" |

Ah, she used descriptive terms, and drawings, although the drawings were b.s. The sad thing is, this girl is going to grow up without anyone helping her to distinguish between fantasy and reality. The adults around her are encouraging her to imagine things that aren't there; and I suspect that could lead to further hallucinations as an adult. |

Yes, that is possibly what Maegan meant. I dunno, it just doesn't seem that hard to me to memorize some medical terms (assuming that they were even used) and just blurt them out, especially when they don't have to be in an accurate context, as a doctor would have to do.

its funny how science discredits natasha ,the way i see she has a gift and i know that at least she knows more about diagnosis than most doctors in the united states she woukld be the second person i know that can diagnose the patiant without any technology .something that should be practice more often here ,its her fault she could not focus on her test but hey she should never try to take the devils test.we need more good people like that young lady with the gift if we wernt so spoiled in our country we would be able to see that our doctors dont know anything about cures, disagnosis without havig to pay $$$$$ for the education that is no good.OUR COUNTRY IS THE SICKESS IN THE WORLD . |

obdu;lio marquez,
Science has NOT discredited Natasha. A group of skeptics did. Science does not have time to get involved in testing charlatans or delusional people.
These skeptics are merely a group that wished to do controlled tests to see if this girl could do what she claimed. The test was simple, logical and fair. If she really had the ability to diagnose illnesses in people with "X-ray vision", she would have passed the test. As it turns out, she didn't.
Just because real medical science is expensive and not perfect, is no reason to believe in miraculous powers claimed by every scam artist that comes along. Because it's so easy to make claims like this, many people do it. If they're so good, let them prove it. |

obdu;lio marquez, your entire posting is nothing more than your opinion of Natasha without a single FACT to back any of it up.
It would be wonderful if there were people who could do what Natasha claims to be able to do; unfortunately, there is no actual evidence that anyone like that exists.
The sad fact is that, when they are tested, these claims of extraordinary abilities fail. I can see that you want to believe in this stuff, but shouldn't your belief be based on reality? |

Typing your unsupported assertions in ALL CAPS doesn't magically turn them into FACTS. You seem to like to make statements you cannot, or will not, back up. If you have any actual EVIDENCE for the things you say, please provide it. In the absence of such, the rest of us will be perfectly justified to discount your opinions. |

I think the only real xray vision that is possible is the one provided by xray cameras which is based on real science - altough not that spectacular.
One such xray camera can be found here

And you with the real science comment...who asked you?! What IS this "real" science you speak of? All science is theory. And a lot of science came about through experiments...duh. Anyone who believes in any type of religion should be able to believe in the paranormal. No body knows what real science is. in fact, there is no such thing. |

Wow, Katie. I can see why you support her, you have absolutely no concept of how the real world works.
Please refrain from using your computer. It and the internet you're connecting to are all products of SCIENCE. Since 'science is a theory' (which is incorrect, it's a process) these things shouldn't exist.
After all, paranormal activity hasn't resulted in anything concrete and you're equating it with science, so it's only fair to acknowledge that science hasn't created anything. Please go back to living in a cave and scavenging berries. It's only in keeping with your complete rejection of everything that science has accomplished (and the paranormal has failed to match). |

Have you ever actually seen the kind of stuff Cayce said during his "diagnoses?" It's such a bunch of pseudo-medical gibberish that there's no way you COULD "dispove" it. You can't figure out what he's saying.
I don't question Cayce's sincerity; he seems to have honestly believed that he had some kind of supernatural abilities. That, however, doesn't PROVE that what he did had any validity at all, though. |

ok...well after reading what all you people said i wanted to say my opinion.
we all have talents and God has given them to us and we dont have to prove it to anyone because 2 people can look at something and see it differently or think differently about it.
I beleive that the way Natasha was looking through the peoples body was using her concentration.
Well how is she going to concentrate hard enough when they were putting her in an uncomfortable position. think about it, you dont understand a language but they want you to prove something that you know is true but them making it seem like its not could affect how your brain concentrates.
Goodness, the doctors couldn't find anything wrong with that one womans lungs but natasha does? and thats not the first time she was correct.
You dont have to prove everything with science or theories whatever...
God made the world and Earth and us humans, are you going to try to prove it with science that we come from monkeys?
People use your heads! You cant always rely on science and theories!
Electronic devices make mistakes!
And there are no such things as physics! thats the devil!
Good things come from God and bad things from devil!
I do beleive her because doctors cant find anything and machines and scans are not always correct! The devil never sleeps he can play tricks with your head but you have to be strong!
Like this one heart surgeon, was a millionaire and all of a sudden makes a mistake and kills the person! WEll that happened because he was not CONCENTRATING on what he was doing and that was already proven! so he was homeless, but then later wrote a book in the library and became rich again!
DOnt beleive what science always says! read the bible people! God does Miracles!! and i have see it soo much! and i had more than one miracle in my life and witnessed it!
the only answer is GOD! who sent his beloves SOn down to earth to die for our sins!
put your faith in Him and you will know what to believe and what not to!
Proof is not always paper and ink!
and no there is not one possible xray!
anything is possible in the world!
Christianity is the way to go! |

im not trying to convert into any kind of religion
stop trying to save the world ,its not coming to a end we are coming into a new age thats all,no one came down to earth to say anything about god
all that is put into your head for control.
does not mean i dont believe or have faith ,all im saying is millions of christions and still no peace what a bunch of fairytales,ok my focus was on natasha she did not say she had xray vision thats stupid sciclops titled it like that so thay could make a circus of natasha little gift. |

yea there are a lot of christians, but there are also a bunch of other people who are against peace.
and im not trying to save the world because its not my eternal home. and we are living in the times where people are becoming worse and causing so much problems. And if you did read the bible you would know that God sent his son Jesus to earth to die for our sins and while he was here he was teaching his disciples and others. and he did great miracles by healing people. and its not just put into out heads for control ok.
where do u think your going to go when u die? into the ground? you either go to heaven or hell and rejecting God will put you to hell. WHy not do good and live a good Christian life and live in heaven eternally?
Yea i know its off topic, but it has to do with it. People will only believe something if science tries to prove it or "say" they proved it. Its all lie. you cant always rely on science...
and she may not have titled it x ray vision..
but it was wrong for them to test her like that...
like on the first test she did see problems in people she wasnt cheating for goodness sake she cant speak english...
she has a talent/gift from God and i believe that was because she would help people.
SHe saw cancer in a woman that a doctor didnt so she is not making stuff up or anything..
and the last test.. they put her through some stress and confusion and naturally when something is on someones mind they cannot concentrate as well so thats why she wasnt able to pass it all...
but as you can see she did get 4 and thats awesome!
they were just making up excuses for her gift because they couldnt figure out how she could do that. Well you there is no need trying to figure out how she can do it because it was a gift given to her from God and no matter how hard a person tries to figure out how she can see through people will never know. the answer is obvious. God is great and very powerful and there is no need for them to say things like that about her. |

yeah that is the purpose of your religion is to disconnect you from reality, you just dont get it!
that is exactly what is dooming this planet is your thinking of some invisible world .
save our planet for our children future ther children.i know my history bible has been used for some very bad things including killing non believers, war, destruction, control, you ever heard of a saying practice what you preech.
when i say save this planet im not talking about saving your self or other people im talking about animals, trees, the air you breathing I would die for this living planet not for your sins.
so please dont be selfish.you know what i mean.
anyway sorry about telling you the truth.
back to natasha i know she has a gift the purpose of the test she was put through is unfair. |

Skeptics are a dime a dozen. Most of them are ignorant of anything other than their own 5 senses and haven't learned to use remote viewing or their dreams.
Visionaries exist in many forms and personalities (Thomas Edison was a well known one). Their abilities are not relevant to their education (Edison had 6 weeks of schooling), however ones with more education do even better. They find the words to describe what they see by visioning, or remote viewing (Cayce is a good example). There are four main forms of visioning, which allow people who learn to use the ability, to diagnose and to offer remedies for ailments. It's a tool anyone can learn to use. Not many people do because few schools teach it. |

Alan, I'm going to tell you something I don't tell most people. I can fly. Yes, under my own power, like a bird, with no external power source or supports of any kind.
You should see me sailing through the air. It's amazing. Of course the skeptics will tell you that it's physically impossible for a human to do what I'm capable of doing, but they are ignorant of anything other than their own 5 senses.
Since you are beyond that kind of mundanity, I'm sure you believe that I can fly, even though you've never seen any evidence of it. After all, who needs EVIDENCE when you have a person's word for their amazing ability?
Please tell me that you are not a skeptic. |

Actually, science DOES have an answer for her alleged "power." It's called FRAUD.
If she can really see through solid objects and demonstrates that ability under controlled conditions, there's a million dollars waiting for her. Don't hold your breath waiting for her to apply for it. She's a fake. |

Amazing stuff, maybe she has some x rays capabilities with electro-magnetic radiation techniques... What are x rays anyways? Here's an intro:
X-ray is a form of electro-magnetic radiation with a wavelength of 10 to 0.01 nanometers; much like gamma rays but shorter than UV rays. X-rays contain high energy radiation exposure because they have an extremely short wavelength and high frequencies. Just like Computed Tomography (CT) scans, X-Rays use ionizing radiation to create radio waves to create visuals of different organs of the body including the lungs. Once the x ray machine aims at the part of the body that is to be visualized such as the lungs, it will emit a small burst of radiation that will pass through the skin and record image of internal organs of the body on a photographic film or a special image recording plate.
