Steph, yes I have been to the States. Some pictures in the picture gallery of my website. 2001, Arizona, and parts of Utah and Nevada.
I have also been to China, Israel, and most European countries.
My father and grandparent spent a lot of time in the former Dutch East Indies (Indonesia) and New Guinea, hence I picked up the odd word in Malay. |

Truth is, I cannot longer afford to travel the world. Not done so for 2 years now. I am on a "permanent" work disabillity allowance now, although I am trying to eventually get back into work again as I am recovering my health and spirits.
The China trip was partly payed by the Dutch Academy of Sciences and NASA, as it was a scientific expedition. The flight expenses of my Israel trip were payed by my faculty, as it was a research trip. |
