I could find Easy Off Bam Trigger at Walgreens' site but most of the sites that would potentially have a commercial are blocked from work. |

I have bought the product for $5 and it works great. I have seen the ad on TV and you are right its faily corny but it got me sucked in but i'm glad because it works a treat. |

Okay, that's it, I'm officially moving to Australia now so I can get me some Easy-off Bam. And maybe some of those Tim-Tams that everyone's always going on about...

Mmmmm....Tim Tams....Actually, people in the UK have the Tim Tam biscuit, but they call them Penguins. (My bit of useless trivia for the day) 😊
Sorry Nettie, I don't watch a lot of commercial TV, (or when I do, I usually head out of the room when the ads are on) so I've not seen any ads for Easy off Bam. |

You mean we had Tim Tams all along! Humph! There I was wondering what these exotic biscuits were like and I apparently I had gotten them in my lunchbox everyday most of my years in school...go figure. |

Surprising, isn't it?
The only reason I found out was when my cousins from the UK brought some with them when they visited us one time. My mum used to rave about penguins, and was so happy when the cousins brought them. I looked at them and asked what the fuss was - they're tim tams! |

Nick, cillit bang was my first thought too...
The advert is funny. They keep repeating the words cillit bang, but put a lot of emphasis on the 'bang' part:
'So try new cillit BANG, guaranteed to blah blah blah cillit BANG!' |

Penguins aren't quite Tim Tams 😉

Fascinating - just spent the past 10 minutes perusing the biscuity goodness, then realised I had made myself dangerously hungry with no biscuits to hand...Dammit! Glad to see the Irish Jacobs Mikado got a good write up - love those things!
But to go back on topic 😉 my mum has a catalogue of industrial cleaning products at home that features "Easy Off Bam" AND "Cillit Bang" aaaaah mum bless your OCD making our home a crazily clean place! |

Dear Nicey
I read with interest in the Sunday papers recently of a young lady who beat off a knife-wielding attacker with no more that a pack of biscuits.
The biscuits, alas, remain unidentified; however much tea-break speculation has prompted discussions as to the most effective biscuit to wield in the face of danger. We cannot decide between something with a high density to volume ratio such as a Ginger Nut with which to deliver a sharp cautionary blow, or something soft and forgiving that might absorb an impact (perhaps a Tunnock's Tea cake or better still a pack of Wagon Wheels).
We would welcome your views on this important matter.
Regards
Chris, David and Steve
Nicey replies: Very interesting. I think I would go along with you on the Gingernuts for packet combat. For individual biscuit defense I would be lobbing Thin Arrowroots at my adversary.

There's Easy-off here that's an oven cleaner, but it doesn't bam. It sprays like an aerosol. |

A man who had problems with premature ejaculation went to a sex shop for a remedy. The clerk handed him a little yellow can and said, "This is Stay-Hard Spray; put on a little and you can go all night!" Delighted, the guy took it home, stowed it on the cellar shelf, and waited eagerly for bedtime, when he sprayed some on his dick and went upstairs to his wife. But it seemed to make
him come quicker than ever. The next day he returned to the sex shop, slammed the can down on the counter, and snapped, "This stuff makes me worse than before!"
Reading the label, the clerk asked, "Did you hide this stuff on the cellar shelf?" "Yeah, so?" said the disgruntled customer. "You must have grabbed the wrong can. This is Easy-Off." |

Now be kind about "Bam Man" - I actually went on a few dates with "Bam Man" about 10 years ago! Ha ha ha - that's not to say the ad didn't enter the realm of cheeseball - from the flood of phonecalls I got - I'd say yes - perhaps it was a tad overdone - but then..."Bam Man" is the kind of guy who would have realised that immediately..and hammed it up. Go easy - ha ha ha..despite the fact he's promoting caustic garbage - he's actually a nice guy who just happens to be afflicted with a Mix 106.5 radio voice! Ha ha ha. 😜 |

I have seen the ad and I thought it was a joke for sure. I thought it was like the ad where the woman is on the "straw diet" where she only eats things through a straw. There was also an ad a while back that took the p--- out of those "whats new???" ad's. I hate the woman who says "like you, I need to get on with my day..." She really erks me. I don't want to get on with my day, i want to stay in bed till 10pm. Boo |

I actually had a bad experience with this product. Easy off bam took the shine off my tiles and i had an astham attack at the same time. It is so toxic! I recently read Reckitt benkiser test their products on animals so i will never support them by buying any of their products! |

this is kinda off topic but i discovered something about animal testing a few years back while working on a term paper. It seems that all cosmetic products are required to be animal tested. the only differance between normal companys and those that claim to not do animal testing is that some do there own testing while other companys will send there products off to get tested. |

I got mine at Target for around $5, Anyway it did work on what it was suppose too. My shower and tub are perfectly clean. However, it dimpled the coating on the tub floor and in some places on the walls. The bottle says may cause etching in older tubs. What it must do is get in minor pits and expands them. And yes, open a window first. Look out, good and bad. |

It is with great pride and a healthy little chuckle that I read how Easy Off Bam has affected so many. Sure, there's those who can only mock and criticise whilst there are many others that have found both the ad and the product to bring them joy. As the official 'Bam Man', I'm thrilled to be able to bring many a giggle to my friends.
So remember, "Bam and the dirt is gone!"
Cheers

I was just on holiday in the US and saw the hilarious Easy Off Bam advert.
There's one in the UK pretty much identical apart from the guy is called Barry Scott, and the product is Cillit Bang. There's a site with a great remix of the ad, mixing the words with a dance beat,

I was in Australia and was amazed to see the Easy-Off Bam adverts, exactly the same as the Cillit Bang ads here except for a different guy and with a different name. If anyone who wants them can't find the Easy-Off Bam ads, I know there are sources of the Cillit Bang ads, so you get the pleasure of seeing Barry Scott and hearing it with an English accent. |

Actually, there IS a product called 'Easy-Off BAM', put out by Reckitt Benckiser Inc. I bought it at Walmart YESTERDAY. I got the Universal Degreaser variety. It cleans kitchen, micrrowave, and very greasy pots, among other things. That is NOT what I used it for. I used it to get out all the mildew in one of my toilets. Now, nowhere on the bottle does it say that the degreaser cleans off mildew. But when I sprayed it on the black mildew, it immediately pushed all the black crap down into the water. NEVER have I ever had a bathroom cleaner thoroughly get rid of mildew, no matter how hard I scrubbed, or how much bleach I used after it. This only required a wet rag to wipe off all the black crud. You have some gall knocking something you've never even used before. This ____ is REAL, and I am going to address an email to the distributors, asking if they can next invent a detergent that will rid clothes of all blood stains, no matter if the blood stains have been washed and put through a dryer before. |

first i must say, america has easy off bam. easy off bam is the best invention in the world, not because of what it does, but because of the ads. if u go onto the site http://www.easyoffbam.us/. then u can everntually find a commercial they play in america for easy off bam.
and secondly, about this whole timtam business. tim tams r the best biscuit in the world rite behind mint slices. but reali if u think about it, any kinda biscuit covered in chocolate is gonna taste awesum!!! so realli just find urself a nice biscuit dunk it in layers and layers of think chocolate and be happy. not having timtams wont ruin ur life!! unless u crave them. which i am rite now.. darn this conversation for making me hungry!!! |
