Er, moool, did you notice that when you are shown the solution, the cups are arranged differently at the start? (Outer two are down).
When you are starting, after the demo, the outer two are up, making it mission impossible.
Typical con-man sideshow trick.... |

Yeah, the cups don't start out the same...so you can turn them all down, but not all up.
...Or I'm doomed to never understand this game too. |

Ease up Citizen, OJ's only 13. Coneheads was released in 1993, which means that OJ was 1 when it came out. So while those of us who are at least 10 years older than OJ do know what you're talking about, OJ might not. |

Oh, my goodness. People born in 1992 are on the Internet? Good Lord, how time flies. I feel like a dinosaur now...

I don't remember coneheads. Well, vaguely. I remember Subway getting plugged an awful lot. I was about 10 when it came out...I probably didn't watch it until I was older though.
Besides, the original coneheads were on SNL in the 70s or something. How would one expect anyone to remember that? It was before TV was invented. Jeez. 😉 |

I remember Coneheads movie ok, and I'm a few years older than Maegan. I didn't watch it until it came out on TV, and I did have to check out IMDB to find out when it was released. I never realised that there was a TV series until I saw it on IMDB. |

Okay, Hairy. If you're refering to something in the movie, please bear in mind I've seen it once about 10 years ago. If you're not, then what on earth are you talking about? 😖 |

In my favorite SNL Coneheads skit, Beldar, his wife Primak (I think) and their lovely daughter Connie, hand out sixpacks of beer and fried eggs to Halloween Trick-or-Treaters... To answer your query, the Coneheads are always polite enough to invite their neighbors to "Consume Mass Quantities" of beer and chicken embryos... When frustrated by cultural differences (The Coneheads are from France), The CHeads will exclaim: "Merps"... translation: Dag, G |

Evildream, I think that's the problem with this puzzle - the solution they show at the start of the game is correct, however as both Charlie and Maegen said, the cups start differently in the example to when the game starts. Ergo, it's impossible to do this trick the way it's presented. |

I actually have a Beldar action figure. He sits on a shelf above my monitor. He has a cool black costume with a high collar and cape, and golden armguards. On that shelf, and this is all true, I also have the Alien from This Island earth, Spawn, The Violator, Lon Chaney as The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Elsa Lanchester as the Bride of Frankenstein, and the Thomas Edison film version of Frankenstein. Go figure... |

I'm not ashamed to admit that I have over 2000 action figures, 4000 comic books, and 50 bicycles. I don't care who believes me on this- I got the comics, and you don't |

You should get in touch with my brother-in-law, Hairy. He's got a shed in the back yard devoted to comics. There's also dozens of shelves full of books. One devoted to the Golden books. Full collection of Noddy books (now there's a story). Lots of stuff. In a four bedroom house, and two bedrooms are committed to his stuff... |

Everyone who takes movie watching seriously should have seen The Coneheads, regardless of age.
Oh, and Hairy, I have an action figure from The Thing! Kinda broken though, so it doesn't stand up anymore. I know there's another one available with the six-legged-head, and I've got my eyes peeled for it. |

Re: the Star Wars.... I'm still looking for a 12" Kenner 1979 Pricess Leia in box. It's the only SW'ish thing I really want. Pretty sad that I still want it, but I lost mine, my Dad got custody of it in my parents divorce. 😉 |

Winona, my BIL didn't have that excuse for Noddy...story is that he was originally given the full collection by his Nan, sold many years later, regretted it, went to a swap meet (car boot sale) found and bought the full collection, only to find that it was his collection and it had been across the country!
Star wars...hmmm...that's pretty sad that your dad got custody of your doll...it just seems so wrong... 😊 |
