Wow, bread that's been buttered in a pattern, then fried. So tough to do yourself. He'd probably get more cash if he waited til she was actually dead, though.

And now there's the Terri Schiavo blog, which manages to sink to even lower depths:

Just checked out the "terriblog". Maybe her and that cat with its own blog should get together and sell stuff on ebay, or something.
😜
I seriously cannot believe all of the people who think that their opinion is going to somehow change things, and getting all pissy about how they feel will somehow change the laws and the court decision. When was the last time a public outcry caused the supreme court to overturn its ruling without any supporting evidence?
There is a reason that the courts and the politicians are separated. |

And speaking of capitalism, search ebay for "schiavo".
This is truly disturbing.
People are alreday auctioning off thinmg like "terrischiavoisdead.com" domains, and trying to make a buck (Actually, two bucks off of bracelets "supporting terri"
"These bands are not associated with the Shiavo case but show your support for life"
Umm yeah, so how is that bandwagon, anyway? |

Oh come ON. INSULIN?
It would be so much easier to just go in and sneeze on her when you have a cold. And they could never prove THAT was murder.
You're an RN and you don't know how to use punctuation? |

Hmmm...actually, I am an RN getting my Master's this year..and last I looked, rhinovirus is not considered lethal, even in immunocompromised folks...and insulin coma is very similar appearing to just end-stage heart failure, and is not looked for in an expected death, even on autopsy...and our gal Terri has been to all extents and purposes dead for a long long time.. and not to put too fine a point on it , Rod, I believe that is "incuring" the wrath...hmmm |

You're getting your masters and you don't know how to make a sentence readable by using punctuation?
😕
And no, the cold is not fatal, but the chances of it turning to pneumonia are very great in a patient such as her.
Insulin coma is not looked for in an expected death, but you have to KNOW that whenever this woman dies, there's going to be a thorough autopsy. Her parents would demand it, hoping that they could prove her husband did something wrong.
I just found <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2005/03/29/national/29schiavo.html?hp&ex=1112072400&en=069a0aa26f3e6159&ei=5094&partner=homepage">this</a>.

Probably because you can present a coherent argument. People get scared about those sort of things. Especially when they don't have anything to back their responses up with, or a doing something for the sake of being annoying! At least his caps lock wasn't stuck in the 'on' position. |

Ok, I just had to mention this. The government is out of their minds. If any of you have seen the video footage on Terri Schiavo, she's anything BUT in a so-called "vegetative state" She looks like someone with any sort of mental disorder. I saw the way she responded to her father and to other members of the family. She was looking around AND able to breathe on her own. Whoever wrote that blog is a sick moron with no remorse for anyone's life, especially not Terri's. Is it really fair to take her life like this? If she were in a coma, unable to respond, I could understand it. It but really, watch the footage! |

You know, I was going to respond about how moronic somone taking an edited video as proof of anything is, but I really do not care.
If people want to waste their time talking about this when their opinion matters not, then that's up to them.
I'm done, any more comments from me about this whole craphouse mess will be jokes, and rather crude at that. Promise.

LadyRaider, do you know what a vegetative state is?
A coma is a period of unconciousness that usually lasts only a few weeks; when people wake up from the coma they're either fine or, if they've suffered too much brain damage, they go into a (permenant) vegetative state. This means that the person's higher congnitive functions (responding to the environment, recognizing people, the ability to think) are no longer working due to brain damage. The brain stem, however, still works so the person's involuntary functions (breathing, blinking, heart rate, BP, etc. etc.) are still going. That's why Shiavo can only be terminated by removing her feeding tube--it's the only artificial thing that's keeing her alive (since she's unable to feed herself from losing her higher brain functions).
You're confusing her vegetative state with someone who's brain dead, where they have no brain activity at all, including that of the lower brain, meaning they can't breathe or anything on their own and are dependent upon breathing machines, dialysis, etc.
Also, Shiavo's higher brain is damaged, but it's not destroyed--that's one of the hardest things about having a loved one in a vegetative state. They're not aware of their environment and they can't think, but neurons will fire RANDOM reactions so it SEEMS as if they respond to their loved ones. Their eyes will follow moving objects, they yawn, and have regular sleep-wake cycles, but the thinking, feeling, loving, person is no longer there.
(sorry this was so long) |

Alright, that was my mistake. What my point really is, is that we made Terri starve to death. Her husband said she wouldn't want to live the way she did. Is starving her any better? Even people on death row, we treated them much better than we treated her. Those are people who have murdered or done millions of horrible things, and we RARELY put them to death, but when we do, we do it humanely. Electric chair, lethel injection, gas chamber. Terri never hurt anyone, and they made her starve to death. Her family watched her waste away within two weeks. If that's not inhumane, I don't know what is. |

Inflicting death on a person is only humane if it relieves suffering.
I'm so sick of this crap I won't even talk about the woman. Through no fault of hers, I hate her so badly that I would have walked down to Florida and smothered her if it would have made people shut up.
That said, I think that they don't fry or inject nearly enough freaks soon enough. But that's a can o' worms for another site, and I won't get into it here.
(What inflammatory comments? Where?)
And, to bring this a little more back on topic, they're stil hawking this crap on ebay. Domain names, newspapers announcing her death, magazines with her picture on the cover, <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=552&item=7312437411&rd=1">pictures of her and Johnny Cochrane in heaven with jesus, </a><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10294&item=4981736769&rd=1">cufflinks, </a>and magnets.
Wow, I love the combination of greed and ebay. It's endlessly entertaining. 😏 |

I actually own terrischiavo.net. Yes, really. I suppose I COULD sell it on eBay, but I don't really want to do that (although I could use the money.)
I have a better plan for it, one that will not demean Ms. Schiavo, but it may have to wait until I find the right person to help me with it. |

The sad thing is in a few days or so that drawing is going to have to include The Pope. What's even sadder is that for the past couple of weeks, John Paul II has been on his death bed and it takes his heart stopping for everyone to get their mind of Schiavo. She probably didn't even die of starvation. Most people that were in her condition and have their feeding tubes removed die of infections from the open wound where the feeding tube was inserted. It should have never gotten this far to begin with. The legislative and executive branches of our government were not only trying to circumvent the judiciary branch of the government, but when that didn't work, they essentially tried to bully the judges into doing what they wanted to do. That's a direct violation of the checks and balances system that was set up 200 some odd years ago to prevent this kind of crap from happening. Up and down the Eastern seaboard from Boston to Virginia our forefathers are rolling in their graves to the point that it's going to start messing with earth's gravity. |

This whole thing has been blown out of proportian, (yes i know it is spelled wrong, I am 13 so don't be mad) Terri is dead and millions of people die every day yet no body kicks up a big stink about them, just let her go peacfully and shut up. (I know she is already dead also). Plus, this is a message board for the museum of HOAXES not museum of gross things that people with a sick mind create. The terri toast is not a hoax.........any how yeah, people certanly are too conserned (i know, i know i am an awful speller.) about her...she is happy now |

no thats cool,OJ..just turn on the spellcheck..but 13 is certainly not too young to ask yourself questions like, what would you want to have done to you if you were in her condition? and ask your parents and grandparents what they would want done..and write it down, so this situation doesn't happen to them, either! |

I've had a living will for a couple of years now... don't want to put my family through any more than they have to go through.
We've long suspected that Erik's aunt helped his grandfather along. (She was a nurse, dating the grandfathers dr.) As soon as he died she ran around the room getting rid of all the morphine bottles before they came to get the body. (literally within minutes) No one has asked directly, but no one would blame her a bit if she had helped it come sooner. |
