I think that it's hilarious that in the topic you have "off topic"
I reminds me of the essay with the title "This Is Not the Title of This Essay" or something similar. |

Myst, I used your title for the chris/rod thing in the shroud thread (with credit, of course 😉 )
I modified it a little, but hey, I thought it turned out pretty good. |

Rod: I figured I'd better let everyone know in the topic that it wasn't hoax related in case anyone doesn't give a damn about other stuff. 😉 I chuckled at the sound of the topic being off topic too.
Myst: Thanks! 😊 We just picked her up today. My life is now full of accidents & going outside every 15 mins for no good reason so far. |

Cool Rod. When can I expect the royalties?:)
Winona, all those accidents and the trips outside will pay off. The unconditional love Safi will give you will astound you. |

Ha! You'll get the royalties when christopher pays you. I've signed that whole project over to him, in its entirety.
😉
I'm never going to contribute to THAT train wreck again. The best thing about it was the ATST title. By FAR.
And yes, Winona, your pup is cute.
I'm not a big fan of dogs, though, I prefer the feline "go screw yourself, but feed me first" attitude to the "beat me and I'll still love you, but I'll crap on your carpet when I get the chance" attitude.

awww, a cuty indeed! I have the same attitude to dogs as Rod, maybe even more severe (I tend to be a bit affraid of grown-up dogs...), but a small puppy, yes, that's lovely.
You know, I once ate a dog.... That was not planned, we only got to know afterward. It was in China, during my 1998 trip. |

Aaaah, immigrant food. Seriously, I'm not saying that to piss anyone off.
I got invited to a guy I worked with's house for supper. They were recent immigrants from Korea. I was curious, but I never tried the cocker spaniel. I stuck to the rice and veggies.
Sometimes I really wish I hadn't passed up the chance. It did smell kinda good.
Other times, I still wonder where they got the dog. I naver had the balls to ask. Was it the pound? Did they eat their own pet? The neighbor's pet? Mail order? |

That puppy is so damn cute, how could anybody even think of eating him? That's just sick. He'd make a nice pair of gloves, though. Or a bike seat cover. Just kidding. |

No dog could be that cute. You must have Photoshopped him. Winona wins Hoax of the Month. |

I guess it's up to me to bring this back 'on topic' with an email puppy hoax:
I need a Favor.........Please pass the word!
My neighbor has a puppy he's giving away (FREE!).
It's a Dachshund, it's house broken, and it's great with kids.
He's giving it away because his wife says the dog 'stares' at her, and that
gives her the 'Heebie Jeebies'.
If you're interested, or know someone who is, let me know.
Here's a picture of the dog.

I've always been a cat person myself....I like the attitude more, too. But I did relent when I was outvoted by 1 1/2 votes. 😊
Thanks for the cute comments, btw!
Raoul: Wasn't there a thing about pet pillows on Alex's blog this week? If it doesn't work out I could just get a nice soft pillow. 😉 |
