I came across this today, I'm not sure just HOW.
<a href="http://www.frankolsonproject.org/index.html" title="Frank Olson CIA Conspiracy">Frank Olson CIA Conspiracy</a>
I haven't finished reading it (barely started, actually), and all I can tell so far is that the person (his son) seems to believe what he is saying.
But, then again, he is trying to sell his book on the story, too.
Here's a quote from the home-page...
"My father, Frank Olson, died in November of 1953 under circumstances that remain both obscure and controversial nearly half a century later.
This Internet site is dedicated to exploring those circumstances and the political and ethical issues embedded in them - issues of paramount importance to the maintenance of an open democratic society.
The aim here will be to provide a laboratory for the conversion of the secretive, labyrinthine system that led to my father's death into the expanding, open network of the Web. I think of this site, therefore, as Frank Olson's window"
The man's death was apparently listed as suicide, but sonny-boy disagrees, and places the blame squarely on the CIA.
Like I said, I've just started reading, and have not formed a solid opinion yet.
Solid knowledge about this will probably never happen.
I have yet to look at snopes, etc. because I would rather read and see what I can find out for myself, first.

So far, I see two major problems with this.
All of the documents are typed out by Frank's son, and there are no photos or copies of these documents. Are they real?
I have not found the report that the M.E. did after disinterment. Therefore, it is also suspect, as no documents means no proof (not that having documents automatically proves anything). They claim to have found a hematoma on the body's left temple. If they did, the guy DID hit the pavement pretty damned hard, could that not explain the hemetoma? I see no comparison by the doctors between the marks on the body and any kind of a weapon. |
