I think the more interesting question is: is Jason's post spam, or is it not? It does link to a page with a picture that shows a huge (obviously fake) spider in a shower, but the page also shows a bunch of hardcore porn ads. And the way Jason went out of his way to call crazyshit.com his favorite site makes me suspicious.
I'm leaving it for now because the spider pic is a legitimate hoax photo, but I added the warning message. |

Thanks for adding the warning, Alex.
Looks like the spider is a photoshopped Cinnamon tarantula.
I owned a Mexican Redleg tarantula at one time and had a ball with the shed skins. If you found the skin while it was still fresh you could push the top (where the spider basically crawls out of the old skin) back into place and mold the skin to look like it was standing on your palm. I had so much fun scaring the crap out of people with those skins. |

Interesting photo. And hey did you also see the big spider?
I suspicious of that whole site. I used to live in Burnaby (its near Vancouver) and I never saw those girls! 😠 |

I'm not even clicking on that site! But on the subject of spiders in showers, my friend in Florida says it's not unheard of for people to find brown recluses (which are poisonous?) and various other spiders in their showers, as they like the residual moisture in there...ack! |

...I've never found a brown recluse in the shower, but I have found Kukulcania hibernalis in the shower. (Notice the male is often mistaken for a brown recluse!) I just pull the shower head off it's little hook & spray it down the drain. Yay for killing 'skeeters and all, but no way could I bathe with an arachnid. |

i'd get my gun and shoot at it, see after how many bullets it dies from leadpoisoning... or put it in a cage and dance with it occasionally... spiders CANT get that big... largest spider i know of is indeed the camelspider wich cant get any larger than a cd cover and even then its a very big one... and fro those that have looked up a pic of it once and found the one with the millitairy guy on the background, compare the size to the sleeves in the top right corner ^^ |
