A German historian claims the Nazis tested an atomic bomb in the final months of WWII acording to this BBC report. He also claims they had a working atomic reactor. It seems rather incredible we are just hearing about it now. According to Ranier Karlsch it is because documents were classified when the small group of scientists were captured. The same thing happened to German rocket scientists, but we have known all about them for a long time. I think this is just a lame attempt to credit Germany with a scientific first. Doesn't he realize the war is over and his side lost?

Wow, people talking nonsense without any knowledge of the theme, pretending to write what 60+ years of analysis conducted by physicians and historians studied. Cool! Really, that's so american of you. If somebody doesn't know any nuclear physics, it's normal. If somebody doesn't know any nuclear physics and talks as SOME of you did without any basis, proof or what, that's redneck-style. |

I am writing a book about the German atomic bomb project, and I'm trying to find out if Allen Dulles, OSS Chief, really said:
"Baby never born. Mother never pregnant."
This was supposedly in a telegram that he sent, so I have two questions: (1) did he really say this, and (2) to whom was the telegram sent.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, John Cox |
