I'm too pissed off to type, so: "4/8/05
It’s time for the 65th annual Troy Lions Club Minstrel show. Mark your
calendars for the evening of April 8th and 9th. This year’s theme is 65
years of Minstrel shows at look back at some of your favorite skits over the
years. The Troy Lions Club Minstrel shows Friday April 8th and Saturday
April 9th at the Troy High School Auditorium. Tickets available now at
Anthony’s Barber Shop in Centerville, Hoover Hardware, Krise Tire, Calkins
Motor Sales, MC Insurance all of Troy and Judson’s Agway in Columbia
Crossroads." ... grrrrrrrr... that shite is from a "community Events" page,
of my redneck of the woods. I WISH TO HELL IT WERE A HOAX... here's the
link: http://www.wnbt.net/wnbt_community_events.htm I post this on the Hoax
site because, if anybody deserves a heads-up, head-up-yer-ass hoaxing, it's
these ingnorant, inbred, turds. Any suggestions?

What don't you get, Ardath Bey? The Minstrelshow outrage, or Maegan's giggle at the pairing of Soldiers and Sailors and Parenthood classes? |

I had no idea that this type of thing still played. Yuck. So, going to burn the place down, or what? 😉 |

In England there was a TV show called THE BLACK AND WHITE MINSTREL SHOW. I think it was still on TV when I lived in England as a kid, back in the late '70s. |

Well, I've managed to find the webpage of the Troy Pa. Lion's Club... http://www.lions-pa14g.org/ClubPage.cfm?ClubID=G1BTRY There's nothing on there about a Minstrel Show |

Okay- I e-mailed the in-bred. I asked him if the show will have Amos-n-Andy skits and Al Jolson impressions. I'm just waiting for a response. AND: Arson is not a Hoax, so don't go there. |

Is Hairy suffering from Pre-Minstrel Syndrome?
I can't believe no one said this before me. |

well first of all there is more then one type of minstrel show they aren't all racist the one in troy revolves around funny skits and jokes and includes some very talented musicians all to raise money for the lions club which is a big club thats raises money around the states to help disabled people in the community |
