yeah, i thought it was real too. i had a situation all mentally worked out, b/c I read somewhere that killer whales will sometimes flop on seals like that to try to crush them or something. so much for my internet-born logic. 😊 |

Well if it is a faked-commercial it sure wasn't shot very well. Seems to me like if it was an advertising spot, created for that purpose, it would have been shot a lot better. Is it possible that the shot is real and was then turned into an advertising spot for Powerade? I could see where this would be a great spot for promoting just such a product, but the quality of the shot/video seems to low to be created for that purpose. Just our $.02 worth... |

The production quality is low on purpose to make the whale seem more real when they add that in for post production. If the quality was HD, you would notice the "seams"
