This is just something I came across today and had to vent......First off, I can't stand Good Charotte....This so called "Band" and notice how I didn't use the term "Punk" because it really doesn't have room to be used in refferance to this "band" and I use that word as well, very loosly. At first when they came out, I thought it was a joke, and then, the masses followed, mainly consisting of people that really don't have the slightest idea of what music is. These kids in the band never even held a guitar before they became famouse. Word has it that they were hired by a record lable that went ahead and gave them lessons, then tatooed them and tried to make a bunch of little boys seem like Bad Asses. Why they are trying to look like hard core punk rockers I don't know because they don't even have music that can be classified as punk....it is alternative "PoP" music...Why do you think one of themm hangs around Hillary Duff???

Good Charlotte... the name reminds me of that made-for-tv movie from the late seventies titled: "Bad Ronald". The plot centered on a disturbed teenager who remains behind at his house when his family leaves (or dies, I can't remember everything, dammit). Bad Ronald then lives in the wallspaces and spies upon the new family who moves in, including, of course, a teenage girl. I think we should rename the Department of Homeland Scrutiny to "Bad Ronald", cuz they're kinda scary. too. |

Poseurs, thank you. ;p I'm just being a poop, Rex.
Hairy, I think you're right. "Bad Ronald" is an apt name for the DHS. Maybe Good Charlotte and Bad Ronald could then duke it out for the rights to spy on Hillary Duff! |

"mainly consisting of people that really don't have the slightest idea of what music is."
I think most people have the slightest idea about what music is. So you don't like Good Charlotte. It's okay. Technically, they are considered a band & they're getting paid to play...so it's not a hoax. If they were just up on stage lip-synching & pretending to play the instruments while a track played...I could see the hoax. Im not a fan...but then again I listen to the local oldies station & the music I hear is older than I am. |

Right On Maegan, fight the power. And a poop you are Ga. Lol. Why is there a 'u' in in poseur? Thats why I hate english, we steel words from every one else that pronounce and spell they're words different. But then again, we've tried to create a language that failed and continues to fail miserably, like ebonics for example. Already established english words suck to, like Mississippi. How many s's, i's, and p's do you really need in one word? Or Arkansaw(Arkansas). Since when do s's & w's sound alike? Twanky-twank. |

I'm not even sure how kiddies like GC LOVER and Giant gc fan got near this site (googling their talentless dreamboats Good Charlatan, no doubt) but bad grammar and taste, plus a pinch of puberty adds up to their deflowering "predictably" in the back of a '87 mustang on a dirty towel.
OK. That was harsh for two reasons: 1. Paul already used the "predictable" joke. 2. the back of an '87 mustang is too good for Good Charlotte fans. |

Ummmm.....Although I do believe Good Charolette is nothing but a fake band, other members feel this should be closed because it really can't be called a hoax. I am closing it to comments. |
