Now i dont konw if you have done a story on this hoax, for im lazy and i read pretty much all of your hoaxes for the timeline the one im talking about took place.
Bre-Ex (dont know if thats the right spelling) Had a huge hoax in the 90s (at least here in Canada)
They were a Gold mining company that falsified records that they had struck it rich. Following this the stock of the company went through the roof making overnight millionaires of many many people who loved how the penny stock had soared to nearly 100 dollars a stock.
When word came that it was all a hoax those who got out early enough were rich and all others lost everything they invested.
