Well, it's a new one to me. That's hilarious. Incredibly scary. But hilarious. Reminds me of an old SNL skit about unsafe children's toys (bag o' broken glass, etc.). |

One thing to look out for is the 'themed' ads from Google that appear on these pages . I called back and saw an ad from "KAPOWWE CO". They sell 'Realistic Toy Guns!!! - Assault Rifles, Western, Hunting, Dart, Cap....we got'em' (see: http://www.realistictoyguns.com/toyguns.mv)
Some do look realistic (scary . . . only in America, as they say) but I'll have to take their word about the ALIEN POP-UP TARGET GAME http://www.kapowwe.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=R&Product_Code=1-1-160&Category_Code=Lotsoftoyguns |

Check this out: http://www.geocities.com/pnttheleb/SpikeSpacePage1 that's an expired political commentary page with links that don't work anymore, but it does show some old comic book ads. One is for the Mattel M-16 rifle toy for kids. The urban legend has it that the Mattel Toy Company (Barbie,Hotwheels, etc.) made the plastic stocks for the real US Army M-16s. Could be a legend, could be real, but the ad is pretty unsettling. Couldn't do that today. |

Some people must be crazy to buy something like that for their kids. I think they need serious special education concerning toys safety. I don't even know if these "toys" are allowed on the market. You don't have to make efforts to find a suited toy store online if you have problems finding something for your kid.
Machine guns...out of question. |
