It is not a hoax... and you are not dreaming... the Red Sox did just win the World Series.

What about some Bostonians burning down the house that Babe Ruth lived in while in Boston? Is that fake? I bet it's fake. I think it would be worth a lot more not burned to the ground. |

I haven't heard anything about Babe Ruth's house being burned down. Anyway, why do that now? Apparently the curse has been lifted... or been transferred. |

You realize, of course, that this means Ross Perot will be our next president, Pamela Anderson will win her oscar for best actress, and I'll actually go find a stable, caring woman who wants to be with me. Hot Damn! I can hardly wait.
Sorry about the rest of you, 'tho, for the Perot thing. Maybe you can move to Canada. |

Prior to the Red Sox winning this World Series, the old house in Watertown, Mass., at 47 Quincy St., -- which his ex-wife lived in after Ruth became a New York Yankee -- was demolished to make room for new construction.
That's not all. Prior to the Red Sox win, a kid in the stands who lives at Babes's Sudbury, Mass home actually had his teeth broken by a foul ball.
