I remember the coverage of that one when he was sentenced. Told the interviewer that he still believed it was a genuine deal, and would have worked, if the Nigerian government hadn't interfered.

Hi!
My name is Jeff and I need to alert every guy that may see this message about a woman who scammed me 3,000 dollars. This woman invited me to visit her (She lives in Mari-El), she had arranged for me to stay at a friend's house and sometime during the night all my money was taken. She totally denied any involvement and I don't believe her. I left Russia without a penny to my name. This woman needs to be prosecuted.

From the stories at <a href="http://www.419eater.com">419eater.com</a> you'd be suprised at how many of the scammed actually keep believing that the crooks weren't crooks. Some of the stories are very sad. |

What is even worse is cases like below:
In June of 1995, an American was murdered in Lagos, Nigeria, while pursuing a 4-1-9 scam, and numerous other foreign nationals have been reported as missing.

i met a girl off adult friend finders stuff dont add up i been reading about scams from nigeria who do i report it too ... she got me for 3500 asked me for another one day it was 1200 then next it was 400 then next it was 5500 help |
