As I already pointed out:
The latest ish of "Skeptical Inquirer" (Jul/Aug 04) is a good one. It features:
- "PBS 'Secrets of the Dead' Buries Truth about Turin Shroud": Joe Nickell takes PBS to task for their lame Shroud doc, and presents tons of evidence for its fakery...

Latest news article from Reuters claims the shroud is not a medieval fake. The claim is the area tested was a patch, possibly placed on the shroud after it was damaged in a fire in 1532.

You know, a lot of people say completely opposite things about the Shrout of Turin. One thing that I read said that the stains on the shroud were tested and found 100% positive to be blood, while another said that it was tested and found to be nothing but paint on the shroud 😕 |

I fail to understand why this shroud would even be considered important to Christians. If Jesus is Infinitely Great, wouldn't His Radiance have blessed all points on the globe equally? The fact that an object was closer to him wouldn't make it any more holy, I would think. |

And I agree with you, Citizen.
Also, I am closing this thread, b/c there is another Turin Shroud thread. I'm simply closing the one that has less comments. |
