This garbage has hit freecycle-cafe on Vancouver Island B.C. Canada. Freecycle-cafe is like Freecycle but in the -cafe you can buy and sell items. Why some idiot posted this spam on that message board is beyond me and I was amazed that so many people responded to it!
Anybody who has been on the internet more than a few months should know better. Its these kinds of people who get ripped off with the Nigerian business scams and all the other scams on the net. What the hecks the matter with them?
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. It you send me a Dollar, I will send you Ten Dollars back! Yeah Right! |

I don't believe the technology actually exists to track all of these emails anyway. It's along the lines of the hoax virus warning, forward to everyone in your address book, it is better to get this email a hundred times than be attacked by this virus. DER!!! Hello! Wasting people's time and computer resources reading this stuff and forwarding it,is the virus. Anyway, I digress. I'm prone to that, apparently. I've got to rush, I have to send |

Wow... Just figured I'd keep the chain going as to how far this has traveled. I got it from a REALLY BRIGHT person... internet savvy, who I can't IMAGINE didn't Google "Charles S. Bailey."
I guess it feels really good to believe it. |

I got the same e-mail as a forward in my inbox today. This is clearly a ploy of scammers to get more e-mail addresses so where they can accomplish their goal of making sure that no e-mail box is safe to open. Whenever you recieve something like this, check your resources to make sure that it is legit before you do anything it suggests that includes forwarding the e-mail. |

I received it today and from my friends from a school. I did the same and forward to many of my friends, then I got smart and checked the phone number. It IS funny how,... "the number you have dialed cant be reached in your area". Hmmm
Well it nice to dream anyways. |

These scams are ways of phishing for email addrsses. Imagine if you wanted a list of desperate and gullible people and you got this on your desk with a few hundred adresses on it of these desperate people. Worst thing is that it is your "friends" who are giving your adress out to the scammers even if you never respond. Jst getting the email means your adress has been sent out to all the people who also got the email from the same sender and all that those send it to as well.
Now you know where spam comes from. |

I seem to get this same email every 2 years or so. I think I might forward it this time and change the name to Barack Obama. I bet the forwarding this would be twice as long. |
