Fosh Automotive
Status: Hoax
The website of Fosh Automotive appeared a few weeks ago, promising that the company was soon going to unveil an unlimited mileage electric car that would sell for under $25,000. A lot of people were skeptical. Fast forward to a few days ago, when Fosh unveiled something, but it wasn't an electric car. Instead, it was a bizarre anti-Obama, anti-abortion diatribe. Turns out the whole "electric car" thing was a bait-and-switch to lure eco-liberals to their site and then hit them with pictures of dead babies.
More evidence that conservatives basically have no clue how to pull off a good hoax. (via Ecorazzi)

Being the life long skeptic that I am, the first thing that occured to me was that this site might be a booby trap.
How do we know that the creators of the site are really in McCain's camp? We only have their word for it and they've lied once already.
In the end I'm not going to become suddenly anti-McCain because of this site without further proof that the creators were supporters of his. I shall however continue to be anti-McCain because I hate his policies and think the man is totally unelectable.

Off the top of my head, the only hoaxes I can think of that might be classifiable as "conservative" are the ones where someone has a monkey or some other animal make a painting and then passes it off as "modern art" as a critique of the genre.

Maybe it would have been more effective if they had shown dead babies in crashed cars.
