Well, I don't know the origination, but a few weeks ago when my co-worker and I did a google search for 'gimp mask' the following link came up as one of the first:

I'll admit I've looked. I want to make more of a fashion statement when robbing liquor stores. Something that says "This guys freakin' nuts. I should do whatever he wants".

Do not knock the idea. Remember, knitting is a skill practiced by women like Gwyneth Paltrow and Catherine Zeta Jones, so this looks like a way to find some hotties 😊

Or some clothing for cold weather, anyway.
