I had a good laugh when I read this one. In the early 80's my financially strapped roommate (she was in medical school, I'm an artist) used to joke about starting a "Rent-a-Darkie" program. Our company's motto was, "You too can look like a liberal!"

Somehow we never found the chutzpah to put it into practice.
